This is a very nice place, just as nice as the photos, if not better. (So often you arrive at a hotel and are disappointed, but not here). We hadn't checked about parking, so when we arrived we drove under the arch into a car park, which seemed to be for other places, and it wasn't really clear in big writing where hotel guests should park. FYI, park anywhere IMMEDIATELY inside the arch, without going through to the second bit, past a low wooden fence. It does actually say Coppa Club parking, but you can't see it unless you are up close. The hotel itself was very clean and welcoming as you walk up to the front door. Once inside, you have to walk towards the bar and the reception desk is round the corner on the left. (You can't see it as you enter). They were very friendly and professional at the desk. The first thing I noticed was the ambience of the place -- relaxed and lively at the same time, people were finishing leisurely Sunday lunch and all seemed very happy. I felt very comfortable there. The room was lovely. Really clean and new, and larger than we imagined it might be. The bed looked luxurious, and was pretty comfortable, with nice fresh white linen. My husband thought there wasn't any milk, but it was in the fridge, along with a complimentary bottle of mineral water, and 2 glasses. The tea and coffee was good quality and the mugs were also very nice and a good size. The products in the shower room were also good quality. (Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and hand cream). The towels were super thick, bright white and very nice. The shower room was really modern and nice. It's horrible to pay for a hotel that is not as nice as your own home -- much nicer to pay for something better - which is the case here! In the wardrobe there is iron and iron board and hairdryer in a linen bag (I had to look twice before I realised where the hairdryer was). But again, a good quality one. So the room and its facilities get a big thumbs-up from me. We had a couple of drinks at the bar, which were normal prices (not cheap, but normal). A pint of nice IPA and an Aperol spritz was about £16 - actually a little cheaper than our local pub in London. The service was good and the staff friendly. We went out to eat, although if we go back (which I'm sure we will) we will definitely try the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was fabulous. Not a buffet. the only thing missing for it to have been perfect for me, was fresh fruit, but the juice was nice. It is table service and everything cooked to order. It didn't have scrambled eggs on the menu, but as they have smoked salmon as an add-on extra, I asked if they did scrambled and they said yes, so I had that, and it was fabulous. We had paid in advance for the breakfast (17.50 pp), which is a good deal if you are going to have everything. However, if you only want a couple of eggs on toast and a coffee, it's cheaper to pay per item. The coffee at breakfast is good quality, proper stuff - a choice of
