Bandhav Vilas

What a wonderful place , I loved this place so much. The staff were so friendly, the food including the safari breakfast was always really good and my room was amazing. I so loved the outdoor shower attached to my bathroom in an enclosed courtyard. The sitting area looking onto a mini jungle was such a relaxing refuge after exciting game drives. I had two massages during my stay, they were really good and so calming after bumpy jeep rides. Could easily stay here for a lot longer. My only issue was the gaps around the doors in bedroom, it would be good if rubber seals could plug the gaps as my first night I had a lot of bugs on my bed. I know it’s only to be expected in this environment but after that first night and a lot of spraying mozzie fluid it didn’t happen again.

We stayed here for three nights and had 1 full day and 2 half days of safari. We had a great time. Our driver was simply the best and made sure we were perfectly positioned for amazing photos of the best tiger experience of our entire holiday. The accommodation was lovely and the food delicious. Drinks were very affordable. The only disappoin**ent was that the pool, although quite large, was stepped on all 4 sides leaving a very small area deep enough to swim. Great for a quick cool down though and plenty of natural shade.

We stayed during our tour of tiger reserves and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Rooms are large and well appointed, indoor and outdoor showers, a sitting area with large window onto gardens, and lots of wildlife. Tea served in the afternoon was perfect after a safari drive, with attentive staff, and excellent service throughout. As others have said food is mainly vegetarian - as you’d expect - but very tasty and options were plenty. Safari breakfasts were super, I’d recommend the Indian option! Breakfast in the restaurant was fabulous, you won’t leave hungry! Our driver guide for our safaris was Balu, and his knowledge and skill was incredible. His hard work rewarded us with 3 sightings over 4 drives, including an incredibly special one on one encounter with a beautiful tiger, Dotty’s daughter. An unforgettable stay in a lovely property with super service. We will return next time we visit Bandhavgarh! Thank you so much to all!

We loved our stay here, the rooms were large, there was a huge bathroom and a brilliant outside shower, (better than the inside one) The rooms had a fridge, TV, 2 seating areas, a front veranda and another on round the back. Bedding and towels were clean, the beds had protectors on. Plenty of drinking water provided, tea and coffee restocked daily. Meals were good with a lovely selection. French fruit and salads available daily. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. A lot of guests on our tour used the beauty salon on our rest day here. With positive feedback. I would give this lodge 4* not the 3.5* that is awarded.

A fantastic stay at a wonderful camp with friendly staff. Our room was extremely pleasant with everything you could want - The outside shower is fantastic (There is also a shower inside in the bathroom). Plenty of birdlife as you walk around the camp & the pool itself, whilst not great for swimming due to it being stepped getting deeper into the middle was still very pleasant. All in all had a wonderful 3 nights staying here - inbetween going on safari

I have recently got back from a safari holiday in Bandhavgarh National Park with a stat for a few nights at Bandhav Vilas. The resort is located just on the edge of Bandhavgarh with the entrance gates to the national park only a short jeep drive away. The resort is nothing short of beautiful. The lantern lit pathways and with numerous plants and trees guiding you up to the reception. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. Greeting you after every safari with a cool flannel and lemon drink at the entrance which is a nice touch. The villa I stayed in had its own courtyards, a big bedroom which was air conditioned and had a huge, comfortable bed, and also a bathroom. The rooms were immaculately presented and very clean. The food was out of this world, buffet lunches and dinners with lots to choose from and all extremely delicious. I know tummy troubles can be on people's minds before travelling to India but I never had any problems with the food at all. There is also a little souvenir shop where you can buy gifts which was very handy and at a very good price too. All in all, my stay was perfect. The only downside was having to leave to go home. Thank you to all the staff who made my stay so memorable.

The outer facade, the decor everything had a royal touch. Each villas are so spacious with private courtyards and sit out it really pampers you. Not to forget the delectable cuisine. Throughout our stay u**ost care is taken for our comfort. The staff members were continuously around to serve as and when required. I will prefer to visit Bandhavgarh again just to stay in this resort which is so close to nature yet luxurious. Thank you team Bandhav Vilas

Generous room with lovely front and back patio. Very private and very quiet. Rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The modern shower was a delight after the dusty roads at the park. The staff were attentive and very professional Delicious meals! This is a place I would return to! An oasis!

Wonderful stay for 3 nights. We booked 4 safaris and were fortunate to see a tiger on the second. After hot and dusty jeep rides through the jungle it was wonderful to return to Bandhav Villas. The ***ager and staff are so helpful and kind, up early to make hot drinks prior to the Safari and ready to welcome you back with cold drinks and towels. The rooms are large with private veranda and courtyard. Everything is very clean, the bed is comfortable and there’s plenty of hot water. The meals were a delight - very tasty and a mix of Indian and Western, so there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend
