It looks great in the pictures but when you get there it really isn't very nice. The web site said the restaurant was open on Sunday nights but we arrived to find it was closed. They advised there was another restaurant in the village, but that was closed due to the owners being on holiday. We decided to move on so forfeited our money, but were happy we did that as the room was not at all nice.

Wonderful overnight stay in an exceptionally clean and comfortable room with good facilities. I thought the Auberge had character and the style of the furnishings reflected this. Also, a great location (20 mins frm Calais port) and beautiful surroundings. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had in France - brilliant selection and excellent quality! Merci, on va visiter encore!

Disappointing. This is not an Auberge or country Inn. It is part of a former farm converted into a camping site with pool shop and club house, and a restaurant. There is a pretty farmhouse used in pictures but not part of the commercial site. The ‘Auberge’ hotel is in fact a barn conversion, shabby and old fashioned and in much need of renovation. Reception is not manned and you are told to telephone for help. We got help from the restaurant. The room key was terribly stiff. The room was dark grey painted walls and floor with car boot furniture. With a make over it could have been cosy and welcoming instead of depressing. Breakfast in a nearby barn was ok but again the room was shabby and depressing. We shall not be going back.

On our arrival there was nobody at reception. There was not even a working reception desk. There were a collection of keys on top of pieces of paper with guests name on them. On the paper was a request to state the times you would like breakfast and dinner. It was not that there was poor service, there was no service at all. The only person we met at the Logis during our 2 night stay was a charming chamber maid. We wondered whether the hotel was run by robots. We have never met this situation before in 30 years of using Logis. Having said that, the breakfasts were excellent. the restaurant next door, la ferme gourmande was very good. the water was hot in the bathroom and the room was clean. It was the no touch attitude that disappointed us. Still perhaps that is just the way of the world now after lock down.

This is the restaurant attached to the campsite but anyone can book and you really need to because it gets busy especially at weekends. The food is excellent and well worth the money. Obviously it’s a French restaurant but they do speak English and they are very friendly and helpful. It’s certainly high on our eating out list.

We’ve stayed at the site a few times but the restaurant was always closed, happy to say it was open on my wife’s birthday. The food was wonderful, the service both fast and discrete and the bill, rather modest. Very happy to recommend, just book first.

Oh dear where do I start? Booked it because it is near the Eurotunnel terminal but that is the only positive thing about this place. The rooms are basic at best, limited supply of hot water and not powerful enough to use the shower head. No sound proofing between the rooms. The so called gourmet restaurant is very average indeed with very poor service. If you want a stopover near Calais my advice is go a little further out and find somewhere decent.

We had dinner in the restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere with possibility to sit outside - this is adjecent to the parking space. The food was decently good although not with a lot of fantasy and the service was kind and very quick. Given the price it is a fairly reasonable restaurant.

This is listed as a 3 star but it's not 3 star by my definition (we've stayed in many 2 and 3 star hotels in Europe). It's a very old property. The bed was unbelievably soft and sagged. There was visible dust in the room. The bathroom had a tub with a shower nozzle set too low to use as a shower and the water would end up all over the bathroom if you tried to shower. Breakfast provided ample food (cold cuts and cheese in the self serve fridge) but the coffee wasn't drinkable.
