"I stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips. Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva. Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station. I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice."

"I had the most romantic and unforgettable stay of my life at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva. The hotel is a historic landmark on the shores of Lake Geneva, with stunning views of the city and the mountains. The location is perfect, close to the main attractions and shopping areas. I stayed in a suite, which was very spacious, elegant, and comfortable, with a separate living room and a luxurious bathroom with bathtub, the view is overlooking the lake. The room also had a lot of amenities Nespresso machine. The service was impeccable, from the check-in to the check-out. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to my every need. They made me feel welcome and pampered. I especially want to thank the concierge team and the guest relations team for helping me plan and execute the perfect surprise proposal for my girlfriend. Lorena, Jochem, Giulia, Justine, thank you all for your assistance and discretion. You helped me decorate the room with candles, roses, and champagne. It was a dream come true. A special mention goes to Audrey, who saved the day when the flower shop declined my order for a bouquet of roses at the last minute. He managed to find a solution with florist and delivered the flowers, just in time for my arrival. I almost had a heart attack when I heard the news, but he handled everything with professionalism and grace. Audrey, you are a star. The Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva is more than a hotel, it is a fairy tale. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay and my proposal so special. It was an experience that I will cherish forever. "The service at this hotel makes it a 5 star in my opinion. The valet / bellman are attentive and friendly . The reception staff is absolutely lovely and kind - very welcoming . The waitstaff in the restaurants are quick and professional while catering to business travelers but also vacation travelers. The rooms are standard Marriott rooms. But after our disappointing last hotel stay in St . Gervais - a huge American style room was a lovely welcome . Every meal that we had was fresh & clean . I highly recommend the quinoa salad with the warm gazpacho. The location is right on the lake and you can’t beat the views from the pool . Next time I come , I’ll try swimming in the open water swim park !"
