Hôtel Résidence Parc des Eaux Vives

While the location and outside of the hotel are great - the experience failed to live up to our expectations. The hotel interior was shabby for the price we paid. Our bathroom stunk of sewage. The jacuzzi tub was spewing disgusting brown residue. And upon check out there was no one at the front desk. We waited around for ten minutes before having to leave bc of our Uber. Later in the day I received a frantic phone call that they were displeased we left without paying the remainder of our bill to which I responded that we physically could not as there was no one there to check us out. They then bombarded me with emails that I could not respond to as I was in flight back to the US for 14 hours.

When we went to the hotel, they informed us that the restaurant was closed but in fact everything was closed there, no bar service, no restaurant , no reception, no staff. The only people I saw in 4 days were the 2 workers who took care of the breakfast. Breakfast was at 7 o’clock but no one was there at that time. We wanted to check out but no one was there. After 18;00 there was nothing, only us and the building. It was a totally unacceptable situation for a 4-star hotel. The only reason why I’m not giving just one star because there was a woman who took care of us when we were living, she came out of the kitchen and put some croissants because she didn’t want us to leave sad.

I had booked in advance online a special birthday meal for two, for August 31 2023, as a surprise for my boyfriend. I booked weeks in advance to secure a table in the La Terrasse du Parc - Restaurant Hôtel du Parc for this special occassion. On the evening before the event, I received an email asking me to confirm my booking again, I kept clicking the link to confirm but it wouldn't go through so I telephoned the restaurant, at which point they told me I didn't have a booking and couldn't make one as the whole place had been booked out for a private event. If I hadn't made that phone call I would never have known, and we would have traveled all the way to the restaurant and we would have been turned away and then would have had to find someone else at short notice - in Geneva late at night! Very dissappointed with the booking system and booking management of the restaurant, felt very let down.

PAR RAPPORT AU PRIX, QUELLE DÉCEPTION... LE PERSONNEL DE RÉCEPTION EST INSUFFISAMMENT FORME. FAIT SI ON LEUR DEMANDE, MAIS PAS D'INITIATIVE, NI DE MOTIVATION. JOLIE VUE SUR LE LAC ET LE PARC, MAIS ON ENTEND UN FLOT CONTINU DE VOITURES SUR LA ROUTE EN BAS. BEAU PARC POUR SE BALADER DEPUIS L’HÔTEL. TV SANS REPLAY, NI ARRÊT SUR IMAGE. PETIT ÉCRAN. GRAND MINI-BAR, MAIS UNE DES 2 GRILLES ÉTAIT TROP ÉTROITE POUR CE MODÈLE. J'AI SIGNALE QUE LA LAMPE DU MIROIR GROSSISSANT NE FONCTIONNAIT PAS, PERSONNE N'EST VENU LA REPAPRER. SUR BOOKING, ILS ANNONCENT UNE RADIO, DES COUVERTURES CHAUFFANTES, RIEN DE TOUT CA. MAIS ILS ONT MIS A DISPOSITION, SUR DEMANDE, UN PETIT RADIATEUR ELECTRIQUE. BEAUCOUP D'ODEURS DE CUISINE, ALORS QUE LE RESTAURANT ÉTAIT FERME. IL Y A UN GRAND JOUR SOUS LA PORTE, ON ENTEND BIEN LES GENS DANS LE COULOIR. VITRES SALES, MAIS CHAMBRE RELATIVEMENT PROPRE. LA CLIM FAIT BEAUCOUP DE BRUIT, MÊME ARRÊTÉE ET ON N'EN AVAIT PAS DU TOUT BESOIN A CETTE SAISON. LES PORTES DES ARMOIRES (IKEA????) CLAQUENT, ALORS QU’UN SIMPLE FEUTRE COLLE RÉGLERAIT LE PROBLÈME. A MON RETOUR, TOUTES LES LUMIÈRES DE LA CHAMBRE ET SALLE DE BAINS ÉTAIENT ALLUMÉES, EN CETTE PÉRIODE D’ÉCONOMIE. POSSIBILITÉ DE PARQUER GRATUITEMENT. PETIT DÉJEUNER (OFFERT...!), TRÈS TRÈS FRUGAL, SERVI DANS UNE SALLE QUASI VIDE, ET AUCUN BUFFET. MAIS JOLIE VUE. CHAMBRE SPACIEUSE, BIEN CHAUFFÉE. PAS REÇU DE RÉPONSE A MES 2 MAILS, ENVOYÉS AVANT MON ARRIVÉE. BONNE LITERIE. LES FENÊTRES MÉRITERAIENT D’ÊTRE CHANGÉES OU POUR LE MOINS HUIILEES, AFIN DE NE PAS RÉVEILLER LE CONJOINT QUI DORT LORSQU'ON LES OUVRE ET LES REFERME.!! J'AURAIS ÉTÉ ASSEZ SATISFAITE DE MON SÉJOUR SI LE PRIX N’ÉTAIT PAS SI EXORBITANT. JE M'ATTENDAIS VRAIMENT A MIEUX, UN 4 ÉTOILES, COMME ANNONCE. MAIS ON EST VRAIMENT TRÈS TRÈS LOIN.... DOMMAGE...

Siamo stati in famiglia in questo hotel per due notti. L’hotel è’ immerso in un parco molto bello e guarda il lago. E’ una location per eventi dell’hotel Metropole e conta con poche stanze.In generale la struttura ha bisogno di un restailing le stanze andrebbero ridipinte e cambiati i mobili in legno che presentano molti segni di usura. Anche la colazione dal mio punto di vista andrebbe migliorata. Consigliato se una persona deve partecipare ad un evento nella location no se ci si va da ospiti e si vuole visitare la città.

Ho prenotato 4 mesi fa una camera per due notti , Arrivo dopo 8 ore di viaggio da Roma e mi dicono che siccome hanno un evento, la camera non è disponibile. Premesso che mi ero sentita al telefono con il concierge il giorno prima.Prenotato tramite booking. Qualunque commento mi pare superfluo.

Nous avons passé deux jours dans cet hôtel avec nos deux chiens. Nous avons été accueillis admirablement par Didier qui est d’un grand professionnalisme merci à lui. Je lui avais demandé quelque chose pour 18 et il fut pile a l’heure De plus il m’a apporté ma commande Uber avec des assiettes couverts etc ( à savoir le restaurant est fermé à cette période) Le lendemain j’ai demandé mon petit déjeuner en chambre et bien qu’ils ne le fassent pas, ils ont accepté car mon médecin venait me voir. Thierry a apporté le petit déjeuner et d’une discrétion absolue il l’a déposé dans le salon. Merci aussi à Louise qui a pris ma commande. Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement Merci encore de tout cœur et à bientôt Je vous souhaite de belles fêtes

Je ne sais pas par où commencer !!! Bon, le seul point positif est l’emplacement au milieu du parc municipal et la suite très spacieuse mais qui manque d’un rafraîchissement. Pour les côtés négatifs, la liste est assez fournie : Accueil à l’arrivée par le staff dû métropole hôtel en nous expliquant qu’il n’y a pas de restauration sur place, que le bar au 1 er étage est à disposition mais personne pour le tenir. Obligation d’aller manger en dehors de l’hôtel !!!! Suite avec canapé lit qui n’est pas mis en place pour la 1 ère nuit donc intervention d’un technicien dû métropole le lendemain Personnel absent ou très peu présent de 7h à 18h et personne la nuit en cas de problème. 4 eme jour, aucun personnel pour le petit déjeuner et même pas de chocolat au lait pour le petit ( j’adore ) 3 eme jour, soirée privée au 1 er étage donc aucun accès au bar (pas d’infos sur cette privatisation et nuisances sonores jusqu’à 0h00 Dernier jour, ascenseur en panne, heureusement la dame du room service nous permet d’utiliser l’ascenseur de service !!! Pour finir, buffet petit déjeuner idem durant 5 jours avec certains plats comme la charcuterie et salade de fruits restés les mêmes depuis le début. Enfin, j’arrête ici le négatif car le jour du départ, enfin la responsable et une hôtesse dans l’hôtel mais pas un mot et Check Out sans un au revoir. Alors en conclusion, quand on a un hôtel 4 étoiles avec un emplacement pareil, où vous fermez pendant la basse saison et vous ne fêtes que de l’événementiel mais par contre, la moindre des politesses est de prévenir par téléphone quand on réserve que c’est une location de chambre et non une prestation de grande classe pour un hôtel genevois. Pour finir, j’avais été conseillé par des amis habitant Genève et je crois qu’ils sont plus déçus que nous. Cet avis concerne uniquement le restaurant Les Terrasses, un endroit unique avec une vue merveilleuse et reposante sur le lac, l'ONU et jusqu'au Jura... Mains cette année, le parking de la Ville de Genève est devenu payant aux tarifs prohibitifs si vous désirez être 3h ou plus en terrasse du restaurant... Il ne reste plus que la solution de venir à pieds au mépris des personnes à mobilité réduite. Concernant le Restaurant, la qualité est correcte, mais certaines propositions sont surprenante: tarte au citron (petit) à 17 CHF, ou le café à 8 CHF sans particularité (un des prix les plus cher à Genève), etc... Impossible de venir le dimanche sans débourser 115 CHF pour un Brunch ne tenant pas ses promesses... Bref, avec tous ces obstacles, encore un endroit qui à perdu son attractivité genevoise et touristique. Dommage, il semble qu'un retour à la «normale» des années précédentes ne reste que lettres mortes. Cordialement Gérard Attali
