Emelisse Nature Resort

The Elemisse is a beautiful resort in a picturesque location. The staff are very helpful and always happy to assist. Breakfasts are of a high standard and it was lovely to enjoy the view over the bay sitting on the terrace. The villas are scattered around the resort which gives a village vibe. There are buggies to get you around if it becomes too hot or you are feeling a bit tired of walking. The pool areas are clean and well maintained with plenty of sun beds. Our only surprise was that we were not supplied with bottles of water in our room on a daily basis and the nespresso pods were not replenished. Additional coffee pods had to be paid for. I did not expect this from a 5 star resort.

Just spent a week at the Emelisse, what an amazing place. The setting is breathtaking with stunning views across to Lefkada and Ithaki. The team at the resort went out of their way to ensure our stay was as relaxing as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious each morning with a varied selection suitable for everyone, including the tastiest sweet treats I’ve had for a long time! The grounds are beautifully maintained and sitting round one of the 2 swimming pools is very chilled with plenty of comfy sun-beds to chose from, We ate a few times at the restaurant by the main pool, the food is delicious - our favourite from the lunch menu had to be the beef burger, Greek salad and chicken tortillas. Our room was serviced twice a day which was an added treat. If you get chance, a must is to hire a boat from Regina in Fiscardo harbour, she’s great and don’t worry if it’s your first time, she runs through everything with you. We explored some beautiful coves. Fiscardo is so pretty, very quaint with lots of lovely restaurants to eat at each evening. We will definitely return.

We had our wedding at Emelisse in May 2024 and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. The hotel is extremely quiet and relaxing with great rooms and facilities and Fiskardo is only a short walk away. Every meal we ate was high quality and the bar staff make great cocktails. Every member of staff was warm and friendly throughout our stay - we will definitely be coming back to stay again

10 out of 10! This gorgeous intimate resort on the sea had the best hospitality, swimming, and food (and drinks)! Kiria Kitsa and Kiria Katerina bake everything and make the jams for the delicious and healthy breakfasts. Fresh orange juice, different Greek pastries, eggs, and pies along with yoghurt and other goodies on the balcony overlooking the bay and Lefkada — a wonderful way to start the day. The pool area is deluxe and comfortable and they always find shade and drinks delivered pronto. But the main event is the sea swimming which is incredible! We went three times per day. There is a ladder in to the deep refreshing sea, tasteful deck chairs, a rope to climb up the cliff. There were never more than 5 people there and it was absolutely heaven. The restaurant and bar couldn’t have been tastier and nicer. Costa is the consummate host. He is warm, funny, and has impeccable attention to detail — even when busy. It couldn’t have been better. Maria the chef is warm, engaging, and innovative about food and wine and only the highest quality seasonal products. It was amazing. The whole team was attentive warm and competent. We were very sorry to go… and the food was so fresh healthy and tasty. It’s also a very easy 10 minute walk to the lovely port of Fiskardo. We went there 2 nights and they have a shuttle back and forth there. The only part that was not satisfactory for us was the front desk. They were not as professional or helpful as the folks at the restaurant and pool. They made a mistake about our departure and did not say sorry. They fixed their mistake but didn’t say sorry. Also, I would suggest to put all the guests with children in one area so they can all get up early and cry together and everyone else can be an adult and sleep in on holiday. Kids are lovely to have around at the pool and sea and dinner and breakfast. But no one who has left theirs at home wants to wake up to screaming children on holidays… But we did not let that dim our view of everything else that was PERFECT at Emelisse! My wife & I had a lovely holiday in North Kefalonia, staying at this resort hotel. The place itself, the location, the food & especially the staff were absolutely brilliant. A number of members of my family have now stayed here, over the last few years, & with good reason - I expect we'll be back.

Wonderful experience as always. Stunning location with the most incredible views. I recently celebrated a special birthday and we chose to go to EMELISSE for dinner. The staff went above and beyond, the food was delicious and so were the wines. Thank you Maria for your hospitality and we hope to see you back in August when we head back to Kefalonia. We have just returned from a lovely stay at this hotel. We absolutely loved everything about our stay which was so relaxing. You will not be disappointed. The views from our balcony were spectacular. The staff were amazing, big shout out to Helena, Paris and waiters snd waitresses. Also Costas at the Votsalo restaurant which made our stay so perfect. A 10 minute walk will take you into Fiskardo or you can jump on the hotel shuttle bus. Emblissi beach a short walk away is paradise. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful time at Emelisse, the location is magical, the staff warm, welcoming and attentive. The nearby village of Fiskardo is a mere 10mins walk, while there is an abondance of beaches and trails to explore. I highly recommend to couples or families.

A really beautiful spot overlooking the sea on the hill above the charming village of Fiskardo (6-7 mins walk). Well appointed spacious rooms - we had an executive double with sea view which was perfectly lovely. Communal areas at reception with separate adult only pool area were all very stylish and the main pool area beautiful with stunning views out over Emblisis Bay. There are paths down across the rocks where you can sunbathe down on the water’s edge and directly access the sea. Also a stunning picture post card public beach a 7 minute walk away. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay was also pretty stunning. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed and warm but efficient. Particular mention to Costas in the restaurant who is everything you could want in a Maitre D. A charming guy and a bit of a legend!
