Enjoyed every moment of our 2 night stay. Fabulous Breakfast . All the staff very friendly & helpful, especially Maddie . Great Cocktails in JJ’s …. Loved the courtyard….. warm weather was a bonus ☀️ Nice twin room , comfortable beds & everything nice & clean

Stayed for a couple of nights to celebrate my birthday. Had a very warm welcome. Our bags were taken up to our room. Room was lovely and comfortable, everything we needed. Spent alot of time sat in the courtyard drinking cocktails! Great service nothing was too much trouble from maddie she is an assett to the hotel. Even helped us on our checkout and we all exchanged hugs, planning to return later this year.

Perfection. On every level. Engaged and friendly staff, beautiful elegant decor and the food is completely next level. Knocks spots off the competition in the area. A variety of options from bar snacks to à la carte. We went a la carte and were not disappointed. We’ve been three times now, and each time they manage to outdo themselves. Bravo to the team, who made our meal so special. Will be back.

We came here for lunch with friends yesterday as visiting the area and had a delicious small meal in the sunny courtyard. We had the duck croquettes and some of us the hummus and pita bread. Both really tasty. Very friendly bar staff and would highly recommend.

Room was clean, comfy bed with good duvet and plump pillows. Bathroom clean with plenty of towels and toiletries.

My hubby and I had the most glorious meal on Easter Saturday, where chef Sam Squires was at his finest. We kicked off our evening with a glass of house champagne in the cozy wine bar, moving to the Ballroom dining room, a stunning space and yet remains intimate. The service was friendly, discreet and spot on. Every course wowed with taste explosions. I particularly enjoyed my starter, a Carrot Terrine, with a buttermilk and dill veloute, pickled carrot, spring onion, thyme. All the textures and flavours at once, tangy, crunchy, soft and simply delicious. We stayed in the Faringdon room overlooking the market square. Super comfy bed, feather duvet and excellent pillows made for a great night's sleep. The added bonus of a nespresso coffee machine in the room is a nice touch and waking up to a fresh coffee is my perfect way to start the day. Lovely white fluffy bath towels and robes and a great hot and spacious walk in shower. A perfect evening and night and we'll definately be back soon, thank you for having us.

We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The room was large, airy and very comfortable. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The egg benedict, at breakfast was particularly good. Thought the building was great and had buckets character as well as being sympathetically restored. We wish them every success going forward.

How wonderful to have this hotel in the centre of Faringdon. Thursday night supper club was a disappoin**ent. Food was tasty but small portions ideal if you are on a low carbon diet. The lamb was very rare, not a problem, but the cut of meat made it impossible to chew. I would suggest forget about the free bottle of rather poor wine and up the content of the food, some chef's bread would have been nice

I stayed in an adjoining room with my elderly mother, who has some difficulty walking. The rooms were beautiful, the food was stunning and the staff were very helpful and attentive throughout. The shower was powerful, and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is full of character, and is well maintained throughout. The log fire in the bar was a real bonus. I would happily stay again.
