Villa Garance

風景很美，温度又舒服，早餐也是相當豐富，吃完露台上放空一下，吹吹風，聽聽海鷗的叫聲，整個人都可以輕鬆不少，房間很大很有韻味，雖然沒有空調但這裏的温度並不熱，涼風習習，下次一定再來

Villa Garance is a lovely riad / hotel in the medina. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room cooled off nicely when the windows were open, though we needed to close them in the morning due to noise (birds, etc. - not the hotel). It was convenient to everything in the medina - easy to walk anywhere.

Two days before my check-in date, I called Villa Garance for recommendations of dinner places. I was told "oh there's a little problem with your booking, only a little problem, not big problem. We accepted a tour group and we have no room for you. We book you in another hotel which is better than us. Come to the reception and we will bring you there". So I asked which hotel they moved me into, they told me was Liouba. Then I searched online and found out Liouba was all sold out that night. I called back Villa Garance if they confirm that i have a room, because i couldn't find any room in the last minute by myself. Villa Garance called Liouba in another line and booked the room. Then I called Liouba to confirm it, it took like an hour back and forth, finally Liouba confirmed that I have a room. The fact that Villa Garance has no business commi**ent to individual bookings, didn't reached out to me and told me about this information until I called them is unacceptable. They expected me to show up at their reception to receive the news and waste our valuable vacation time travelling between hotels. I was happy with Liouba hotel for their service but still I filed a complaint with ******* about Villa Garance. And ******* told me they contacted Villa Garance and was told this is totally business as usual and they have done this to many other clients. Just want to write my experience here so whoever book this hotel can be prepared for such incident as "business as usual".

Charming riad with a beautifully curated decoration. The welcome was warm and felt like coming into a family home. Breakfast service was great and very good choices. The location is great, within minutes from the port and beach and inside the medina. The room was spotless and all amenities needed were thought off. Beautiful rooms, great location, and really friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable. There were lots of outlets in the room (important to charge camera batteries, devices, etc). Breakfast was wonderful, too: fresh fruit, yogurt, and eggs made to order with coffee, juice or tea.

Great location, lovely staff highly recommend

I wanted to be in Essaouira to celebrate my 40th birthday, as it’s one of my favourite places, and we couldn’t have picked a better Riad to do it in. I really can’t recommend this Riad enough. The owners are some of the loveliest people I have ever met and when I received some devastating news they were so wonderful and kind and I will be forever thankful to them. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the breakfast was excellent - I really wish we’d had dinner here as the menu looked delicious, and if the breakfast was anything to go by then I know it will be good! The rooms were stunning. Everything was tastefully decorated and you could tell that a lot of thought had gone in to each individual room. Location wise, well it couldn’t have been any better! You are smack bang in what I call Little Souk Street (it’s not actually called that!) and only an alley away from what I call Big Souk Street (it’s obviously not called that either!) it’s only about a 10 minute walk to the port and you are really close to some amazing restaurants. I will be coming back to Essaouira and I won’t hesitate to book in to Villa Garance - it felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much for everything. Sending Love to you and your family x

Highly recommend this place. In the middle of the old city with rich history.

We loved our stay here, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, and the breakfasts on the roof were amazing! We will come back!
