Edinburgh Leith Waterfront

Staff were excellent at check in , reception area was clean and tidy. Rooms were clean and tidy, close to shops and restaurants. Buses run frequently into Edinburgh and the trams are close by.

It's busy as it's out of town, with free parking and it's large. Rooms are getting tired, not bad, but need some attention. The biggest downside is that the attached Brewers Fayre gets booked up, so it's full, plus the last orders are at 20.30, meaning if you arrive late, there's no place to eat. I mean a capital city where on a Friday night at 20.30 there's no chef. So, book your table ahead and arrive before 20.30 .... now to see what it's like at breakfast? Feeding time at the zoo, no doubt!!

The room I’ve been checked in was cleaned really bad. Bed looked like someone already been sleeping on, rubbish in the been,kettle full of water from previous guests,dirty toilet and hair everywhere.

So disappointed with this hotel, completely tarnishes this chain’s reputation considering our stays at Premier Inn’s in various london locations were exceptional. We first got overcharged for my THIRTEEN year old’s breakfast, she had to pay for even though the policy is 16 and under free with a full paying adult. This refund still hasn’t been processed which is completely unacceptable. The whole room is tired and needs updating. The heating system is old fashioned and useless. Rooms so stuffy and there is paint peeling from skirting boards in bathroom. The whole hotel is strangely laid out, a mess of a maze to get to our room. Don’t be fooled by the reasonable room rates, it cost £19 in a taxi to get back from city centre after a night at the theatre. Will never go back, and cannot discourage enough! Really makes me think twice about booking a Premier Inn again.

We have used this hotel many times over the years but it's beginning to look a bit tired. We were in room 11, but it felt like we were in a wind tunnel. There is a large gap down the left hand side of the window which was blowing in cold air. It was also noisy. We tried plugging the gap with folded cardboard - but we didn't have enough! The wind coming in from underneath the door was also very noisy. We had to plug that gap also just so we could soften the noise. Apart from that everything was ok

Easy to find, lots of parking space, checked in straight forward and warm comfy quiet room as per most Premier inns, Evening meal service was exceptional, and lovely views, wanders by the forth. Great location.

Lovely location on the picturesque waterside. Very convenient public transport close by. Quiet room, comfy bed, good shower. Tatty room and hotel but it was very clean and safe with awesome staff. Vegan food available, so I was happy.

….and it was a really positive experience. Clean, comfortable and felt very safe. Will defo use Premier Inn again.

This hotel wasn't cheap at +/- £125 a night, but it certainly hadn't had much spent on it. Very tired room with filthy windows, looking out on to rubbish strewn grass/brick wall, the room was extremely dated. The lampshades were split, tile joints black. The bed was comfortable but no place to sit comfortably to chill. I've already booked an alternative hotel for another upcoming stay. I didn't expect 4* but this was not VFM.
