Ulasan Coron Gateway Hotel & Suites

This was our third room in the hotel during the same trip. This was also the worst part of our trip. The quality of the room was the same as the others we stayed in - very wide, but not very clean. The water pressure was also very low, and the hot water was not very reliable. Again, the bathtub was basically useless because of how slowly the water trickled out to fill it up. The second evening we came back to find the room hot, humid, and feeling like a sauna. The A/C had broken, and they told us there were no other rooms that we could move to. They gave us the choice to wait for a few hours until the AC was fixed, or try a smaller replacement room. The replacement room we went to was smaller and clearly uncleaned - the carpet felt kind of sticky/dirty/stained, and there was visible dirt and dust around the room. The AC in this room was also broken, and only blew warm air. After complaining some more, the staff revealed there was another empty room, they said they would clean it so we could move in. After over an hour of moving in and out, we were finally resettled into the new room. The staff were understanding and seemed to genuinely want to help, but seemed to be unable to make any decisions without authority of the management, who they kept calling to confirm. The management initially offered complementary breakfast if we switched to the smaller room, but after we moved to the new replacement room the staff said that the breakfast offer was canceled by the management, since our new room was of the same value as our original.  In the end, we wasted nearly all of our last evening moving from room to room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.  (Included is a picture of the falsely advertised 'ocean view').

The state was great. It was amazing. It was right at the beach.

It's a very old building, so the facilities are very worn out. The options are not suitable at all.

Minus there is no pool, in general I just don't like Coron as an island

The room is large and right next to the pier for easy access to the sea. However, booking is only recommended for people who like to eat and live with animals. On the first day I checked in, I heard a strange noise from the curtains. I was so sleepy that I thought I didn't close the windows and the wind was blowing, so I fell asleep. The next day I heard running sounds on the ceiling, but I just thought the sound insulation was not good. I slept late on the third day and found several mice crawling on the curtain rod! ! ! The abnormal noise of the curtains is because they are running from the ceiling to the floor. The ceiling is because they are running. They live in the suspended ceiling and should be able to reach every room! Rat droppings were found on the windows and had to be cleaned many times. The hotel must be aware of this situation. They were expressionless when complaining and were not surprised at all! The food I brought was chewed and the locked box was chewed, but the hotel did not resolve the issue and did not apologize. There was no hot water in the shower during the first two days of my stay, and I couldn't find anyone to fix it. The security and cleaning staff are very nice, and the front desk will greet you with a smile every time, but if something goes wrong, no one can take care of it. After two days of complaining, only Ctrip was able to help resolve it. Thank you very much to the customer service staff for their patience!

Everything is old, dead, dirty. Ants, a large cockroach and a mouse were on the 2nd floor!!! The location was right next to the pier, there was hot water. Everything else was quiet horror, the air conditioning did not work well.

The service staff is very friendly, and the location is very convenient. You can walk to the busiest street in town and the seaside! The twin room we booked is facing the sunset, so it is very convenient to watch the sunset from the room. The room is big, but you just need to pay attention to whether there are mice...

It's on the beach, the environment is nice, the service is friendly, they help call cars to transport guests, and the room is very big.

Very shabby hotel. Broken air conditioning, musty smell, lights turned off at night in the room. Breakfast in the cafe at the hotel, not tasty and long wait. Pros: Comfortable bed, duvet included.

Facilities are OK, including breakfast is better

DONT BOOK IN THIS HOTEL!! bed bugs, cockroaches and rats everywhere inside the room! the hotel is very very very very dirty! i asked to changed our room and they didnt change it cuz the hotel was fully booked! eventhough they told us they will clean our room there still plenty of bed bugs! disgusting and itchy! the towels are dirty and they will give you beach towels! i will never recommend this hotel!this hotel need to be close! and disinfect!

Hotel is near the port where all boat tours start. Accessible and near the restaurants. No elevator, we were on the 3rd floor. Room is spacious compared to other hotels in Coron. We booked a junior suite with shower and bathtub.
