Ulasan Alishan Sunrise B&B

Kamarnya sangat lucu. Andaikata Anda ingin memiliki tempat yang tenang untuk menyaksikan matahari terbit. Mereka memiliki tempat yang sempurna untuk semua pelancong. Saya hanya memiliki beberapa masalah untuk menginap di sini. Lokasinya agak jauh dari halte bus. Sepertinya Anda perlu mendaki untuk sampai ke sana. Saya tidak menyangka akan berjalan jauh sambil membawa semua barang bawaan saya. Saya sangat kesulitan. Mereka juga tidak menawarkan untuk menjemput Anda dari halte bus.

It's few stations away from Alishan, if you're driving then is good, but if walking might abit tough as there's a few part of slope from the station to the hotel. There's only 1 7-11 near the bus station so better to buy everything you need first before going to the hotel. Overall the hotel itself is nice.

Clean and tidy room and common area. The bosses are pretty nice. They are quite helpful and sincere in arranging any support to us. This is the second time I am stationing here for my Alishan holidays with friends and family.

Reviewing from a "long-stay" (5 nights) point-of-view. Pros: Room is spacious enough for 2 pax + breakfast is not bad. Cons: Our room's toilet smells of mild sewage throughout our stay + sound proofing is not great. Every morning, we were awoken by doors banging/voices from people who went to see the sunrise. Recommend to stay only if you're budget conscious and have your own transport (which is recommended for all stays in Alishan anyways).

Definitely will not going back to stay for my next trip!

We did not get to see sunrise because it was misty but the room was very cozy and nicely suited up. It'll be a little far without personal transportation, otherwise it's quite worthwhile for the comfy stay. 7-11 is just outside main road and riding to Alishan entrance was about 35km. The only unpleasantness was not so great check-in experience with the landlady.

View was amazing, beyond expectations. But location wise, hard to get around. At the foot of the walkway is Hotel Indigo, but the walk up is crazy with tons of spiders over one's head. Bus stop is LongTouPing which only have 2 bus to FenQiHu daily. One at 1057H and another at 1330H (estimated from bus service website). We waited in the cold for 40mins to get on the bus. Uber was also not available which made it hard. We were at the Bnb at about 1440H and was told that we cannot check in because it was not 1500H yet. And we're in the cold. But host told us to go walk around. He also sounded very irritated when i want to check with him on the transportation to get around, cutting me in and insist to listen before i even can finish my question. When we were there it was foggy, so we causally mentioned we will skip the sunset, of course, were told off "you come here never witness sunset?! Dont make any sense. You cannot tell people you've been to Alishan then" We returned for check-in first and only to be interrupted by another group to check in. Who gets their keys and briefing first despite us reaching first, and it deems to us that he was not as friendly to us comparing to others. Anyway, room does not come with heater and hot water is limited. Halfway through showers, only have got cold water. Breakfast was cold too. We came out at 8:30 for breakfast, and there was not much options left. Room appear to be nice but drainage issue is a problem.

Recommended! A quirky and unique spot for experiencing the Alishan sunrise. You can also do some short hikes in the bamboo forests near the accommodation. The room is spacious and well stocked with amenities. Very kind and friendly owners.

Stayed there for 2 nights, did not managed to catch the sunrise as the clouds were too thick. If you are there to get away from the city life, the place will be great, only setback is the location. If you are on roller luggage you probably want to think twice. Even if the luggage is not heavy but the slope is steep. So unless you are travelling by car, it is not advisable to stay there unless you are super fit. The owner wife design the place on her own. She also made very nice and cute stuff, interesting place. they also sell organic black fungus. If you are there for breakfast try it. The plants there are so beautiful too. Enjoy if you are there.

Nice place and can see the Sunrise.

The B&B is only a 5-minute uphill walk from the bus station, which is great for a solo traveler like me on the go using public transportation. The short climb is worth it when you consider the spectacular views of sunrise and sunset you get at the venue. Checking in is simple and smooth. The host was also kind enough to greet me at the bus. The room I booked is relatively small but the double-size futon bed is firm and has given me 3 nights if comfortable rest. There is no table but the wall-side low counter and stool allows me to have my takeout meal. The bathroom is functional and clean. The only downside is the noise I feel are the noise made by other international travellers (the German and English speakers during my stay 12/27-12/29) who have shown no consideration for other guests, but earplugs allow me to drown it out when I sleep. The buffet-style breakfast is all delicious and plentiful. The owner himself makes fresh coffee from his Nespresso for you. For dinner, I have bought very affordable local takeout noodle stew at a stall near the bus stop, and there is also a convenience store where I could buy food for my next-day mountain hike. The best and key part of the stay has been the photo-taking opportunities at sunrise and sunset, not forgetting the cats in their “cat cafe” outside the restaurant. Overall, for the low price, it is of excellent value.
