The room and Staff for the most part were awesome. Beaches were amazing as always. The daytime lobby bar staff for the most part ignored you or made you feel like the were doing you a favour by serving you. Henry at the front desk was beyond awesome. Dining room was lacking in food and cleanness. Staff were great in the dining room. I love be the but it needs work. They did paint and get new furniture. But it is an older resort. It needs some renovations on plumbing, electrical and other more in depth repairs.

This will be our 4th stay at the Sol, Cayo Coco. It's a great resort! The staff are fantastic. Many have been there for years and are like family. They really try their absolute best to ensure you have a great vacation. The food is quite good despite the challenges Cuba is facing. We did not experience any shortages. There were no power outages. The resort has refreshed their lobby and rooms and it looks lovely. They have added more palapas, some with wood structures so your chair is out of the sand if you if you want. They added swings on the beach which is fun and relaxing. The entertainment was fun. The beach is fantastic! Super long, soft sand, lovely!

Hello everyone The hotel turned out to be quite acceptable. Of course, there are many things that need repair and updating. But overall, the hotel is quite good. But in fact, this is not so important. Great location, clear sea and white sand. Special thanks to the staff, to tell you the truth we left a lot of tips and gifts for the locals, just because we wanted to thank them for their efforts. Very beautiful and well-kept territory, thanks to the gardeners, they do a great job. I would like to say separately about our excursion to nearby cities. Canada Air organizes a paid excursion to ***** and Siega d'Avila. Believe me, it's worth the money. Thanks to our tour guide Jay. He knows the history of your Cuba very well. Thank you so much for our vacation, you made my first experience of a holiday in the Caribbean islands unforgettable.

Outstanding service in a beautiful location made for a great last minute, father-daughter, getaway. Resort is smaller with a relaxed vibe. It was not busy during our stay (6 days end of January, 2025). Lounged at the east beach and went swimming at the west beach. Although there were red flags for swimming their were no current or undertows. Walks on beach at low tides were particularly scenic. There were plenty of chairs in sun or under a beach palapa at anytime. Looked the same way at the pool. Rooms are a good size and with an overhead shower and handheld shower head in the bathroom and mini fridge with large bottles of water. We were able to check in a few hours early which was great. Our standard room had a nice balcony and an ocean view. There were a good number of outlets (220V, North American and European plugs). We were on the third (top) floor and slept comfortably with the balcony door open. Never used A/C. Perhaps due to the strong and steady winds, I only saw one mosquito during our 6 day stay. Room cleaning service was timely and thorough. Took advantage of the late checkout option ($), to make the most of our last day. Food and drinks were good, although the variety was limited. No lineups to speak of at the egg, pasta or meat cooking stations. Service was consistently excellent. Enjoyed the a la carte with live music (guitarist and singer). The entertainment we saw was excellent. I really enjoyed the live Cuban music. Areas for improvement: - we had a slow water leak by lights in the ceiling near the sink - a few times there was no hot water, fortunately not on cool days - food variety was limited (there were not a lot of people at the resort) for all meals We never had issues with anything running out. There was always power, water, toilet paper, eggs, rum, beer, wine, even mint for mojitos! Thank you Sol Cayo Coco for a great trip!

The hotel needs to close immediately and start complete renovation. Most of the facilities are old, broken and filthy. Even if the staff is friendly the hotel cannot support what sells in the web.

This hotel was so accomadating. Everyone is so nice and that's what we all need.. the food was excellent.. couldn't ask for better.. didn't run out of any food.. always something to eat.. our room was always cleaned and our maid was exceptional.. the bars and bartenders were so great.. the only thing is we didn't have rum the whole week we were there, so we had to compromise, and we bought a bottle in the gift shop and drank that as well as their wine.. I love it....the entertainers were amazing and very friendly, they did a great job.. . Roger and his team were great. Although, I think they could do more to get people involved.. like volleyball in the pool, yoga in the pool,. Drinking games, etc. One thing that really amazes me is that these people remember you.. our second time there and they always remember you.. the staff all around were truly friendly, always ready to help.. so thank you to Sol for making out stay a memorable one..
