Le seul NH en Italie qui m'a déplu, alors que cette chaîne est très bonne.
Immeuble fatigué, accueil sans plus, j'ai été mal servi parce que je ne parlais pas italien, car tout italien qui venait demander quelque chose était servi immédiatement. Je n'ai pas du tout apprécié.
La chambre avait une déco sombre et sale, très fatiguée. Aucun service proposé mais en plus il fallait payer 3€ la petite bouteille d'eau quand c'est en général offert gratuitement. Bruyant car la chambre donnait sur la rue de circulation voiture. Elle était trop chaude à 26 degrés et le thermostat ne fonctionnait plus.
Bref encore une chambre pourrie que l'on refile au touriste pigeon de l'étranger.
Le petit déjeuner était bien mais non généreux, sans plus par rapport aux autres NH, en plus le service de table est bruyant, ranger en jetant fourchette assiette brutalement en faisant des bruits insupportables, ça commence mal la journée.
L'hôtellerie à Catane est la pire de toute la Sicile, il faut vraiment penser à moderniser, à changer le personnel dont l'accueil date d'une autre époque.

The hotel was about 15 to 20 mins walk from the center but it is located in a nice area with shopping and restaurants around within a few blocks.
Service was good and breakfast was nice quality too.

Clean and safe hotel, spacious room with good spread of breakfast. Walking distance to Etnea (shopping belt), with several restaurants in vicinity. Enjoyed our stay there. Appreciate the staff for helping to arrange a room for us where we do not have to change room as we join our tour group that started with a night stay at this hotel.

Unexpected trip to Sicily and no US Navy base accommodations available. NH hotel was really the only choice available but I could not be more satisfied. Good value for the money, breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, and staff was great. It was my first time in Italy and I didn't know how a lot of things worked or where anything was. Front desk staff was always very friendly and professional even though I had a lot of questions every day.

As my title says. . I have been retuning again and again and that says it all. Literally from a home to home experience. Obviously being on Holiday I was pampered , it was so nice to return after a day out and find everything spotlessly clean, and my room chosen tea making facilities a real treat. I arrived late during my last and yet (!) a snack ( a wonderful warm toasted sandwich) was prepared in spite of the bar being closed Thanks for all that.

Good clean hotel. All the staff we met were very polite, helpful and professional. Room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Lovely powerful shower. Air conditioned, which was definitely needed with the outdoor temperature of 34°c every day! Good breakfast selection - scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs (they would prepare eggs other ways on request), bacon, mushrooms, bread to toast using a very slow toaster(!) and other types of bread, pancakes, cereal, museli, four types of milk, yogurt plus toppings, pastries and cut fresh melon and pineapple. We would have liked to try the restaurant but the menu seemed limited (almost entirely meat) and when we asked about vegetarian we were offered pasta al Norma. We later decided to try it out but when we arrived at 8pm there was no one around to make a reservation with. Location is about 20 mins walk from bus and train stations and same distance again to the main square with the Elephant statue in. We didn't use it but Alibus to airport goes from road across from the hotel.
