"The location is brilliant, downtown San Diego close to every thing. The checking in process was smooth and professional but the receptionist guy was very grim, he gave me the feeling that I am not welcome at all. The room is elegant, impeccably clean and the bed is super, but the air conditioner is rather loud. I gave my greetings to the house keeping as they did an excellent job every day. The complimentary morning coffee was perfect and very good. Upon checkout the receptionists were very nice ladies. All in all a very good hotel to stay in san diego."

I must say we enjoyed our stay, especially because the room is well-designed, as is the bathroom, which is quite spacious. It's located opposite the port and is easily accessible; the Alibus stop for those arriving from the airport or train station is just 100 meters away. The location is one of its strong points, as it's just steps from the Cathedral and from there you can reach every attraction on foot. I highly recommend it!"

The actual booking was slightly different from what the owner received in the order; the owner's order didn't include breakfast, but the host said he would give us two breakfasts as a gift, and even said he was a friend from China. The room's location is close to the police station, so safety isn't a concern. It's just a short walk to a restaurant area, including a really good one that's both cheap and delicious. The room also has a very large balcony."

"Disappointing. Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that the sheets on the bed were unironed, making it look like the bed had been unmade for the night. I believe the manager came to see for herself and reassured us that she would take care of it. When we returned, nothing had changed; in fact, the sheets were not tucked under the mattress. During our absence, the staff member who came to our room decided to leave the windows open, resulting in a freezing cold that evening; it was 12 degrees outside. Meanwhile, we called maintenance, as the air conditioning/heat pump wasn't working, and we also pointed out the condition of the bed. After fixing the heat pump, the maintenance man also repaired the TV, which wasn't working. Disappointed with their choice, I preferred not to mention the refrigerator wasn't working. Since the property has a swimming pool, we asked if it was possible to have bathrobes, but since they didn't have any, they agreed to provide us with two beach towels. We did find them, but they were frayed and badly worn. My reservation was as follows: We confirm RESERVATION No. ......... for 01 Double Room in your name + dog with a supplement of €20.00 per night ............... RATE: €125.00 per night At this point, the amount I should have paid should have been €125.00, plus tax and any services. Unfortunately, this was not the case because I paid €125.00 + €20.00 + tourist tax and 2 coffees in the room. At this point, I don't know how it can have 4 stars and on what basis. I certainly will not return or recommend the facility. I hope they know how to improve and take care and attention to the rooms and therefore care for the customers."

"Very close to the city center, very easy to find, originally the email communication is very good, but unfortunately when I arrived, the doorbell of the building was broken, I couldn't get in for a while, I entered the room, and I was relieved at once. It was very warm and homely. The kind of homestay, it feels like my own home. The owner is not there, the key is on the door, everything is very smooth, there is a super classical small balcony in the room, standing on it overlooking the street view of the main street, the sun is on the balcony, the young lady who loves to take pictures is very good. I went to the kitchen for breakfast the next morning and found that the owner was an elderly couple, very kind, and made an exquisite buffet breakfast. The restaurant was small and exquisite. I chose to eat by the floor-to-ceiling windows. After the meal, I asked 10.30 to check out. I had no place to go, so I sat in the aisle living room to rest. I just witnessed how the old couple carefully did the room hygiene. I was shocked. I felt more serious than I did in my own home! At 12 o'clock they finished the hygiene, and I left the building with them. I still recommend this to my first time in Catania."

"Acceptable room. The bathroom has no window or ventilation system. The breakfast is poor with packaged and non-branded items. But the worst thing is the area, dirty, degraded. You have to be careful, they broke into my car. They stole objects that I cared about and that I had purchased. I must say that I also asked the owners for advice on where to park, they told me that I would find it in the area... it was enough to say to park in a guarded parking lot. Terrible experience. Absolutely not recommended."
