By far the worst experience at any hotel I have stayed at. If there was an option for a zero star I would select it without hesitation. The front desk staff are rude, do not care about their customers and fail miserably at making an effort to turn a negative experience into a positive one. Thank you Kevin and Eric for making a mockery of our hotel check-in experience on Nov. 27. Almirante Cartagena has failed to deliver proper customer service to their client. Front desk staff made us waited over an hour to sort out our room check in while making a mockery of the situation. While waiting, the staff did not make an attempt to offer us a glass of water or coffee while waiting. After further escalation, a room became available, the worst room and poorest condition. No one would have wanted to take their shoe off and lay on the beds in the room that was provided. There was dirt on the furniture, hair on the bedding, blood stains on the floor, a complete disappoin**ent to anyone starting their vacation. We managed to get a room by 9 A.M. and were told by the front desk staff, though they knew we traveled all night, that we cannot have breakfast as our reservation doesn't take effect until the following day. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy.
