Beautiful place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of coron. Room was spacious, had incredible views but for anyone who likes to keep your beverages cold, theres no fridge! No kettle or coffee in room but the restaurant does carry great drink and food to choose from. Pool was right on the water, little beach area also. Staff were super friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Good vibes and good services in the resort. the room is clean and comfy.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Stunning views from the huge picture windows in every room of our villa. The room is super clean with comfortable bed and large bathroom. The staff are very warm and professional. The food in the restaurant is very good and so is the service. The location is remote but you can get in to town by van in 40 minutes.

March 2024. I'll keep it short: It couldn't be better!!! Few guests, remote from the city, approx. 50 minutes by car. Hillside location, great view, super nice service, diving center in the hotel. I had the Bay Suite (best location at the highest point) Airport 35 minutes away. Not a party area. No children. Gladly again ***** Andreas / Germany

Good - beautiful! Excellent views Bad - Expensive. Food is below average, we eventually went to the restaurant Al Fresca at the entrance of the resort has much better food. There is very little in terms of snack options and o would recommend you buying snacks before hand as once you get to the resort you’re isolated (we can not ride motorbikes). Also the cost of a single banana cost 1 USD! We are unlikely to be staying there again. I would consider Al Faro if I am to go back.

Spent a few nights here in rainy season. Location is beautiful with nice views. Rooms big comfortable and clean. Restaurant good selection of good food at reasonable prices. Not recommended if you have mobility issues or for small children.

We booked a week at Marina Del Sol. We only lasted one night at the resort, before booking at another hotel down the street. There were a couple reasons we moved, which included the lack of communication from the management about the closure/draining of the pool, the room was so hot we wouldn’t sleep/woke up sweating even with the fan/AC unit on, the overly salted food and the bugs. The closure of the pool was huge, because the weather/wind was too poor for boating activities given the season. There were so many bugs that got into our room, starting from the ants on the seat overlooking the ocean, which were there upon arrival and the few massive spiders that decided to visit us while we slept. As someone who worked in the hospitality industry, learning from guests being unhappy is invaluable. Reputation in this industry is everything, it makes or breaks both restaurants and hotels. Upon leaving, no one asked me why, no one followed up with us, we weren’t given any kind of refund on spending almost $600 and we were required to settle our bill of two meals before leaving. If I were in their position I would have done everything and anything to have the guest leave on a halfway decent way. For all of those reasons, but most the lack of a follow-up and communication to us before arrival, we won’t be back.

What a wonderful three days…from the beautiful location, the facilities, the peacefulness, and the excellent staff. Everyone was so kind but I will single out Jessa who helped me with a personal problem. We went on the three island trip in a banca. Pristine, exciting and a full day. We enjoyed the resort so much we did not venture out. Thanks to everyone.

This property has beautiful views, you need to book a room with a balcony that costs more to appreciate the property. It is however very isolated and would not recommend more than one night. Food service is slow. Rooms are nice the ones with balconies but need maintenance and an upgrade. For what it is it’s overpriced

Favorite resort in all of Busuanga. Have been here dozens of times already because I love visiting Busuanga and this place has been very consistent. Great location close to tons of beautiful islands and steady service and food.

Great views and calm but bad service (eg forgetting to clean room, delays, mistakes in bills and orders, dirty tables of previous guests not cleaned for hours despite multiple requests, some staff showing frustration when we ordered or asked to have our drink/food at pool (ie not outside their kitchen/bar), full of ants and spiders (huge hairy) including in bed and toilet. One morning we woke up to a killed spider blood on our feet - we expressly asked staff to change the sheet and they didn't. Hotel has amazing potential but it needs maintenance and upgrade to ensure insects In bed are limited. Also Too far from Coron town so none of the tours providers collects from here, and hotel s van service to town was too expensive (81 euros approxim. return) ; also hotel s tours offer was overpriced (3 times at least the town tours). Also there was miscommunication with what exactly the tour would cover (ie re prices and locations agreed). We ended up leaving earlier as this was for our honeymoon and the experience was quite bad. For very similar price we booked a great hotel in Coron town, with amazing service and views, and got to do cheaper tours too! Overall NOT value for money.

I cannot recommend Marina Del Sol enough! Worth every peso! Exceptional service and staff. Gorgeous and clean Villas with incredible views. Peaceful and relaxing. The staff checked in with me daily and I booked all my activities through them. Even helped to accommodate my vegetarian diet at the restaurant. Scooter, Kayak, Island Hopping in Busuanga and Coron Island Tour. They provide an experiences menu to choose from, which I loved! If you do any of the boat tours on Banca (the traditional Filipino Boat), I highly recommend requesting the boat Angela with Noel and Wilson. They were the BEST guides to the point where I made sure I had them on my second boat tour. Note to Digital Workers & Nomads - No WIFI service in rooms. Only in restaurant, which was not great. Though I had good cell reception and was able to use my own data plan on my phone for working. So come prepared if this is you!
