Alpi & Golf Hotel

I stayed for a week with my partner Jan and daughter Natalie at the lovely Hotel Alpi & Golf and had a wonderful time there surrounded by snow capped mountains. The hotel is run by Michele, partner Lara and Michele's father Alfredo who also looks after the bar area. It was a delightful stay from start to finish, with the owners going out of their way to ensure that our visit was a memorable one. The food was excellent with many choices daily and the staff polite and efficient. We had lovely rooms with views over the valley and mountains beyond. The whole time we were there we had a feeling of comfort and relaxation and we'll be back, sooner rather than later.

The most welcoming, comfortable hotel I had the pleasure of visiting. Michele and Alfredo are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Their knowledge of the area is incredible and they are always at hand to help with any equipment hire, restaurant reservations or anything else you may need. I have visited in both in the winter for skiiing, and summer for cycling and both stays have been fantastic. The ambience is very relaxing and the food is first-rate in both quality and value. The perfect small hotel in the alps - I will be back soon!

This family run hotel offers a warm welcome, comfort, excellent cuisine and an efficient service. Michele, his wife and father Alfredo, make you feel a part of their family during your stay. This is our second visit and we plan to return again next year!

Everyone is always made to feel very welcome at this fantastic hotel in Bormio. The Cantoni family are perfect hosts, with great rooms (with glorious mountain views), great food and one of the best bars in the world! Bormio is fabulous for skiing - and now recommended for summer hols too.

The hotel is great, but it is the service and the owners attention to detail that are making it quite unique. For a week we felt like this is our winter home - so cosy, so calm and recharging. Food was very good and the location as well. Memorable winter experience!

What can I say for this amazing hotel and the amazing owners. Michele always there to assist with anything you need, always with a smile and politeness, Alfredo such an amazing personality, I cannot imagine the place without him😊It is the second time we have chosen to stay for a week in this lovely hotel in the Junior Alpine suite, such an amazing room with beautiful view,all the staff so polite and always there,so clean,the foyer with the beautifully fireplace and all the premises so nicely decorated,,makes you feel like home.The breakfast and dinner amazing, always at dinner different tastes from.the area,and so many other little things that makes the customer's stay so nice. We already booked again for next year and we are looking forward to it...We left and we felt like we were living home..Dear Michele and Alfredo we are looking forward to our next coming to you. Missing Alpi and Golf Hotel and all of you already !!!

This is a true gem of a hotel. It is hard to describe in words that will truly do it justice. We are here for the third time and this time it is with my extended family. I am eternally grateful to our friends who introduced us as this is THE place to truly relax and enjoy the slopes (and shops) of Bormio. The personal and attentive service from Michele is exceptional - no request seems too much and is always met with a smile; from organising early meals for our young children, catering for food intolerances, ferrying us backwards and forwards to the ski hire shop, helping us organise ski lessons and airport transfers. The hotel has a warm, convivial atmosphere - with the fire always roaring in the lounge where there are books, games and a fully stocked bar. It is a true home from home, with guests playing cards in the lounge, laughing in groups and skiing together during the day. Thank you so much for all you do Michele and Alfredo.

We stayed at the Alpi Golf 10 years ago for my husbands 40th. We loved it so much we returned for my husbands 50th. Michale the owner remembered us from 10 years ago. The whole Cantoni family who own the hotel are a delight. The most helpful family and for us who do not speak great Italian their English is perfect. Their service is amazing. The rooms are immaculately clean and the views spectacular. The breakfast is the best going. The hotel has been renovated since we last visited and they have done an amazing job with the renovation. Even better than our last stay. Thank you again Michale and Alfredo for your amazing hospitality and we hope it will not be another 10 years between visits. Amanda
