The Benson Hotel

Just got back from a long weekend staying at Benson. We had 2 rooms, a double for my parents and a triple for me, my wife and 2 children. £280 all totalled for 2 night stay. The hotel was clean and the rooms were clean and the owners helpful. But I’m really disappointed. I checked the hotel out and all the reviews said it would be a great hotel but not for me. There was no breakfast provided and that in itself it’s not acceptable. We would not stayed if we knew Breakfasy wasn’t included. The bar and drinks area was closed all weekend. The bins wernt emptied and no new towels provided. No refills of tea bags or milk in room. The rooms are incredibly small, the triple room is the size of a double with a single bed squeezed in, it was impossible to move round the room. No wardrobe for clothes just a chest of draws. The rooms were incredibly inadequate for a family of 4. Feel incredibly let down from staying here and would not stop again. Not having Breakfast included is not acceptable for any self respecting BnB in Blackpool, for that reason alone I would rate the weekend stay as terrible let alone all the other issues.

The hotel was spotless and the owner Christine was lovely would go out her way to help you would highly recommend this hotel and breakfast was lovely freshly cooked and made porridge for my friend who doesn’t eat fry ups
