I've stayed at this lovely old but still nice hotel many times. It's well worth what you pay for.always plenty of hot water in bath tub and shower .hot towel rail and heater in room for cold December nights

It certainly is a fabulous building but jaded splendour springs to mind. The window in our room was in very poor condition and a gap to outside of 4 inches long and 1 inch wide during storm Lillian this was an issue. Apparently some rooms are fitted with UPVC I reported this to duty manager Louis, I asked for another quilt, we had to ask again at bed time. We were compensated with an evening meal which was good standard. Bathroom door had swollen so it took two people to open. But bed was very comfortable and the room and linen very clean. Breakfast buffet was very nice with hot plates and good selection. The hotel is conveniently situated and very large. Would stay again and ask for a refurbished room

Stayed one night in a twin room on first floor. Managed to park at the hotel but only that space so lucky. Room was a nice size and all amenities were ample for two. Decor is a little dated but well maintained and you still get how grand it would've been back in the day. Shower was over a bath which was a little high to get in and out of and didn't drain for ages but was super hot and really powerful. Breakfast was lovely - very busy but we were seated quickly and didn't feel rushed to leave. Only fault was the room was absolutely freezing! Would highly recommend and would certainly stay again.

We stayed with 2 others friends for 2 nights as a New Year treat. A beautiful, elegant hotel tastefully restored and maintained. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Location is very good and a short walk from Blackpool North railway station and parking spaces for drivers on site. This was our second visit of 2024 and we intend returning in 2025

Really enjoyed our stay in a beautiful historic building with a great social history. We had a lovely welcome and the reception was very impressive. We had a view of the tower from our room which was a lovely surprise when we got there. Breakfast was very good, laid out well, good range of hot and cold buffet items. To top it all we ate by the window and enjoyed the sea view! We will be back 😁

Very spacious room. Lovely environment and able to see the sea from many angles from the hotel.

The fire alarm went off at night and we went downstairs and waited. No one came and even gave us water. Then, there was a misunderstanding and we went back. I looked for water in the room and there was no water. In the morning, I reported our complaint to the receptionist. Then the manager of the hotel, an authorized lady, came. I told her that we went downstairs at night and were uncomfortable. I said there was not even water in the rooms. However, instead of offering water, she said you could get it from the bar. Service The industry should not be like this. I have been working in hotel management for years, this behavior is very rude.

A classic accommodation, dating back to 1867! It must be popular as there’s many guests and private parties.

Good location and facing the sea view. Tram stop is nearby. Paid parking is available.

It just never changes, great place , location and service. Excellent checkin and welcome. Room very good but a tad too hot! Breakfast superb as usual and cheap car parking.

Lovely stay. Check in long queues. Keys cards stopped working so had to go down to reception to reactivate them. Long walk to the town but there is a tram stop outside the hotel.
