Better than expected from reading reviews did the job for a one night stay, room was decent size, bathroom was immaculate but towels were dirty in circle spots and no milk for the tea and coffee and TV was in an awkward position on the side wall but overall an ok stay would do again if needed

Just average nothing fancy Walls quite thin I could hear convos and everything else 😁 from the next room  Location is great though very close to the station

The picture they have on their website for double standard bedroom is way too different then the real room.. they made a bed with two singles bed had a tiny lil space and tiny lil soap bar

After about 5 years not staying here,we thought we'd bite the bullet and ignore the negative reviews, and book a week here! Well 1st impressions, magnificent! You can see they've spent millions on the refurb! Our room is on top floor! On entering the room we were surprised to see a huge mega king size bed and very comfy,nice pillows, hug new tv. New bathroom with new walk in shower.. New fluffy towels and a kettle with coffee and biscuits.

Room was totally run down, funny smell in room almost like someone had been sick all over the carpet, Asked to be moved to a different room It I was told I would have to pay extra. In the future I’d pay £20 extra and just stay in the premier inn just over the road

Good location Room was clean good tv but that was it no luxery at all very worn down place needed the vac going over the carpet lift was worn out but the linen was clean no dust in room only two pillows on the double bed Bit good area in the middle of xmas market

Most terrrible hotel I’ve stayed in a long while, toe nails lefts in the bathroom and bedroom, insects crawling round the shower. All the staff had no clue to any questions I asked them. Payed for breakfast but the kitchen wasn’t even cooking food at 8:00

Got a room without windows. No hand wash and hotel just stinks like a sewerage. Personnel was slightly helpful but they didn’t tell me anything when to check out, about breakfast and I had to go back for them to tell me what is my room number. Not recommend unless you’re really struggling for space to stay.

Paid for a triple and got a twin with No Hot Water. Don’t get me wrong, the staff were lovely. Booked a standard triple. We’re given a double. Told the triple wasn’t available for our first night. As only 2 of us for the first night accepted a twin. Had an unfinished feel to it! NO HOT WATER in the morning. Our 3rd couldn’t make it so said we would stay in the twin as long as water sorted. Spoke to reception 4 times about the water and assured it would be fixed. It Wasn’t! No restaurant or bar due to a refurb we hadn’t been told about. No where to leave cases after checkout, but reception did hold them for us. No Manager to Speak to at the weekend. Emailed customer services -No reply Used the contact us on the website -No reply Perfectly placed for the Christmas Markets but wouldn’t stay here again.

I booked a room at this hotel for an overnight stay in Birmingham for an important meeting the following day. I called ahead to let them know when i would be checking in and was abruptly informed that all the rooms were already occupied, including the one i had booked and that there was nowhere for me to stay. The staff were very unhelpful, put me on hold and then hung up on me instead of talking. They then refused to answer the phone, leaving me stranded in Birmingham for the night. If you are looking for somewhere convenient to sleep, you should certainly keep looking. Abysmal experience and terrible staff.

This dump is a rip off. Cost me £85 for a single room which was a garrett. The lift wasn’t working and l had to carry my suitcase up several flights of stairs. If you have any sense do not stay there !!!! It was by far the worst hotel l have ever stayed in.
