The hotel was really nice and the rooms were spacious and clean. 30 mins taxi to Chinese Great Wall. The staff was nice however most did not speak English, yet had a good translator machine to help. However in an international 4 star branch hotel I would expect front staff to be required to possess better English skills. Yet the general manager did speak very well English and always would come up to us to greet and talk so that was a major plus. Only minor thing is that the room service food was stated in the room menu cart to be available until 23.00 yet the kitchen closes at 21.00 apparently. However the staff helped us directly to order food to the hotel. So just some minor things that could be worked on but overall a great hotel.

Clean and spacious room. Helpful staff. The breakfast can be greatly improved both on a variety of items and freshness. By 8:45 the buffet was almost empty. The coffee can be improved as well.

I had a great stay and the hotel staff, especially Jasmine, went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. There were several staff fluent in English and they even gave me a WeChat contact for the hotel in case I needed anything. I would highly recommend!!!

First of all, I have to stay in hotels with my children for at least 60 to 70 days every year, including summer and winter vacations, various holidays, and taking leave to travel. I express this to tell you that I have really stayed in many hotels, and I really want you to avoid pitfalls. This Hilton Garden Inn doesn't deserve to be called Hilton. First of all, we were told that the wontons and noodles at the breakfast stall needed to be cooked in advance and just needed to be boiled in water. Just imagine how it tasted. Then, as for the swimming pool, only the smallest pool in the picture had warm water, so children can't play there. The so-called playground was also very cold and small. We can choose not to play in these, but children will be disappointed. Let's talk about the most important things about staying in a hotel: 1: Hygiene: on the day of check-in, there was urine on the corner of the toilet lid when we opened it (I don't know about others, but I personally can't stand it). 2: Service: if you want the hotel to send you some water, toothpaste, toothbrush... when you call, you will be told to transfer to this department or that department, and then you will have to wait endlessly and be hung up. It was very nice to stay at Yilin during the Chinese New Year to watch the lanterns and ice lanterns. Second time staying at Hilton. The breakfast was average, after all, I didn't expect too much during the Spring Festival holiday. The pool water was very clean and the temperature was suitable. Very bad! 1. The location is remote. There is no need to book this hotel for normal travel. You have to stay in a tour group. A family of three 🧑🧑🧒 + two friends went to Yanqing for skiing + hot springs. The hotel was really awesome. The bed was super comfortable. It was really important to sleep in a comfortable bed after skiing all day‼ ️ The experience was very good. The cookies given upon check-in were delicious. They took the initiative to prepare supplies for the children. The room was relatively spacious. We were upgraded to a family room.
