Motel 6 Beatty, NV - Death Valley

還行吧，就是噪音大了一點

1. We were given a receipt of 158$ while the TripAdvisor took 182$ from us for booking the room. 2. The walls were thin and the corridor was not clean. There was too much noise from corridor and the neighboring rooms especially at night. 3. Bathroom smelt of bleach. Can you use perfumes when you clean. They are not expensive to use.

We have stayed here before but this time the initial experience was different because we checked in and the room had no working air con, certainly no cold air. The temperature outside was 98F. We brought this to the attention of reception and they sent someone to take a look and that person agreed the room was too hot to stay in. The reception gave us another room on the second floor, the initial room was on the third floor. The second room was fine. I did hear there was some issues with the air con on the third floor so anyone wanting to stay I would advise against the third floor(top floor). Thats the bad news now things got better the room was clean and what we would expect. The staff were friendly and reception was pretty good too. I do recall that this Motel was named in a science fiction book "It Started In Tonopah" So its a little famous now. Yes I recommend this hotel its right next to Death Valley and not far from the Motel is a Denny's and that was excellent. Take a look round Beatty while your there and remember to fill up with gas while in Beatty as its almost $3 cheaper than in Death Valley

A nice quiet hotel. Room was smaller than normal but was comfortable enough for what I make a hotel room for.... Sleeping and showering. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, water was hot. Staff was friend a d professional. Close to gas stations and restaurants and not that far from any major location in Death Valley.

I guess I should really give this a 4 star, but.... For a motel 6, it was good. But compared to other hotels, it only rates a 3. But saying that, it was probably the best in the town. The front desk clerk was very friendly and willing to do anything for us. We appreciated the fridge in the room with room to put our blue ice in the freezer overnight. We travel with insulin for my husband and appreciate that. They don't offer breakfast but there is a Denny's right across the parking lot. They do have fresh coffee in the mornings beginning early. The towels were bigger than some of the other hotels that we have stayed at on this trip. The beds were good and the pillows were fluffy.
