Cote Thalasso Hotel & Spa Marin

The spa is quite simple with a warm sea water swimming pool and sauna/hammam. We had the sea mud covering and it was relaxing. The restaurant is pricey but the food is original, my kids liked the kids menu very much. The sea view from the terrace is also very nice.

Review for Quadruple Family Room with Sea View which was good but quite far away and roofs directly in front of us. Separate twin bedroom with wardrobe where we stored all our stuff. Note: Check out the hotels in Collioure too before making a decision. GOOD Lots of parking Welcoming reception. Functional, large hotel - rooms all very similar. Room - Hairdryer, lots of sockets, very clean, safe, tea & coffee, 2 bottles of water Nice sized mini fridge with small freezer compar**ent but still big enough to make a few ice cubes. Take freezer ice cube bags or mini ice cube trays. Restaurant - one of the best meals we’ve had in France, Beef Fillet/Sea Bream & Dauphinoise. Great service by semi- speaking English chap (sorry - didn’t get the name) Plenty of sun beds around the pool area NOT SO GOOD *Pricey at E230 (no breakfast) for a fairly basic but practical room. *Watch the staircase in the Reception area; health and safety hazard as both my husband and I nearly knocked ourselves out by bumping into it! *Just out of Banylus-sur-mer on a hill; 15-20mins walk to the centre down 146 steps or take the longer, flatter, winding road. *Bar closed during the afternoon? Bit rubbish if you’d like a drink on the sun terrace. * Both pools are Salt water - not to our liking. Pool inside - heated; pool outside freezing. *Road noise 6:30am Saturday - could have been the bins? * Mis-communication between Reception telling us one thing and how it worked in practice: - you can swap out your wet towels and then spa place telling us we had to keep them - booked a restaurant table outside for our evening meal but the restaurant insisted we sat inside. *Wifi could be better… NEUTRAL Can’t comment on the spa trea**ents as didn’t use these facilities, but trea**ents very expensive. Large open Terrace which could certainly be improved and made much more inviting - perhaps a bar, bar stools and tables etc. Great sea views.

One day the bar was closed due to staff shortage ? We had to descend to the center to drink a beer. This in high season? When the bar is open, there is not much stock, in this case no simple beer available, and if it was replenished the next day it was not cooled. The balustrade on the large terrace side bay, is no longer glass, and replaced by rusted cables. Here and there a skirting board is missing. Building does not appear to have been refreshed and certainly deserves an upgrade for such a location. On the other hand, the rooms are very neatly cared for by super friendly room staff. Plus point. So is the good food, and also super friendly waitstaff. It is noticeable that these employees also have to row with the belts they have. Request the settlement the evening before my departure so that I can leave on time the next day. The receptionist showed me a bundle of work she still had to go through and didn't have time. Probably because I asked the question at 8.55pm, and the end of her shift was approaching. The morning of departure, return to the reception at 7.30am. It couldn't be that fast. She laughed at the fact that her colleague didn't have time the night before. I had to come back after breakfast. Finally, there are points that can be worked on.

Tout était parfait ! L'hôtel est un sans faute, la chambre au matelas miraculeux, le petit déjeuner 3 étoiles et la thalasso juste parfaite pour un break quand on est au bord du craquage ! L'accueil est souriant et plein d'empathie que souhaiter de plus ?

Accueil excellent , magnifique endroit avec un personnel compétent et à l’écoute. Tout est réuni pour passer un excellent moment de remise en forme et de détente , un restaurant au top avec des menus variés tous les jours .

Piscine intérieure SPA grande, eau bien chaude, avec cols de cygnes et nombreux transats. Soins de belle qualité sauf cabines algues "enveloppements" où les fenêtres sont vieillottes et les courants d'air nombreux. Grande amplitude horaire pour en profiter en fin de journée. Il manque une salle de repos avec vue mer, c'est dommage. Piscine extérieure en retrait non chauffée Chambre "avantage" de belle dimension avec 2 placards rangement, literie confortable. Gros point négatif : pas de salle de bain mais une immense douche italienne et un lavabo directement dans la chambre = manque d'intimité Restaurant très bien, bon service, plats varié et bon. De belles promenades aux alentours et de magnifiques point de vue.

Pour une première expérience, nous sommes ravis de l’accueil qui nous a été réservés. Massage extra, personnel à l’écoute. Nous reviendrons et essaierons le restaurant B66. Centre très bien situé avec une vue splendide sur la côte et la mer.

Hotel precioso con un spa más que digno, vistas al mediterráneo de postal y nuestra habitación era amplia, con una cama comodisima con un sobrecolchon que me estoy planteando comprar uno para mi casa! En el baño hay dosificador de jabón. Si vais como nosotros a pie, hay dos caminos para ir al pueblo de banyuls-sur-mer, uno son escaleras y otro camino de tierra( los hicimos los dos)
