Hotel dengan balkon di Edinburgh

The room was beautiful and the amenities were great! Unfortunately the sound proof was extremely bad 😓. We stayed for 2 nights and for both nights we heard loud talking, screaming and shouting. Last night was the worst. In addition to the shouting and loud talking, an alarm from a building went off the whole night 😩. The alarm went on for 15 to 20 minutes and then came back again. It went off for at least 3 times the whole night. We completely couldn’t sleep until 4am. We will definitely not staying there again. For the price we pay it’s absolutely feel ridiculous!

Everything was overall very good. The location was exceptional. The rooms were so handy and practical, there was a quite functional and almost fully equipped kitchen and there was even a washing machine. I was planning to have breakfast outside - in a coffee shop or bakery, but i changed my plans to have my breakfast in the room sine the room was like studio and had given me a cosy feeling in the middle of the city center. The only downfall was that instead of keycards, they gave me a pincode (like numeric password) to open the doors and the codes were hand written by receptions and handed to customers just like that. This seemed to me not very safe while it may sound somehow practical to some other people in other ways. Maybe i need to get used to it if this method is going to be applied everywhere in the future, who knows.

Apartemen ini berjarak setengah jam berkendara dari pusat kota, tetapi ada halte bus di bawah gedung yang langsung menuju pusat kota, yang cukup nyaman. Apartemen ini dilengkapi dengan peralatan masak yang memadai dan kamarnya luas. Namun, tekanan air toilet di unit bertingkat tinggi (lantai 5) kurang memadai, unitnya sudah tua, menggunakan pemanas air penyimpanan, jika lebih banyak orang mandi, perlu menunggu beberapa saat. Check-in dan check-out dilakukan secara mandiri, kata sandi kotak surat akan diberikan untuk mendapatkan kunci setelah menyerahkan informasi dan deposit £100. Pembayaran deposit dengan kartu kredit akan dikembalikan 5 hingga 10 hari setelah check-out, tetapi jika tidak menggunakan rekening bank Inggris, saya tidak tahu apakah bank akan mengenakan biaya.

Semuanya sempurna Lokasi yang bagus Sangat bersih Tidak perlu bumbu Namun peralatan dapurnya lengkap Hanya saja tempat tidurnya tidak 1,8 meter, hanya ada dua tempat tidur besar berukuran 1,4 meter, dan tempat tidur kecil hanya 1,2 meter, yang berarti keluarga kami yang beranggotakan enam orang tidak bisa tidur di kamar tidur, dan satu orang hanya bisa tidur di ruang tamu. Ctrip segera menghubungi kami. Catatan khusus: Hotel ini adalah agen, tidak terhubung langsung dengan Ctrip. Pukul satu atau dua siang, sebuah email dikirimkan yang menyatakan bahwa deposit pembayaran informasi kartu kredit diperlukan, jika tidak, pihak hotel tidak akan diizinkan untuk check-in. Hotel dapat berkomunikasi melalui email atau telepon, dan diperlukan kemampuan bahasa Inggris dasar.

Quite a surprise when I was assigned to the top floor of the building as there was no lift and I had to walk all the way to the assigned room. Got myself bumped hard on my head at night as attic was low and I was looking for something after I turned off the light.

the hotel is centrally located and walkable to all major site, it is attached to the only shopping mall in downtown so it is really convenient. the architectural design of the hotel is unique and stands out amongst historical buildings around, and very photogenic. However I have stayed in many W hotels around the world and I found this one interior qualities not up to par with the others, the decor and material of my room is cheap and not special, the toilet is so small and cramp, the vanity and sink is around 60cm and single sink, very tight to even get dry and undress. the room is dark with very small window, i think i stay in the back wing. Though the beds as usual are very comfortable. the hotel doesnt have much amenities there is no pool, entry lobby is very small [relatively], only one restaurant double as breakfast cafe and at night a japanese chain restaurant. two things also stands out. i do not recalled the last time i go in the hotel and there is a long line for check in which happens this time, there were at least 3 ppl in front and after me. and it takes a bit of time although the staff were very kind. also lines both nights when going to the bar, huge line on saturday, at least 12 ppl jammed in the lift lobby. I also noticed that there are not any native english speaking staff, not at the check in, nor maitre d at the bar nor the room service phone reception. we had a good stay but def a few things that stood out.

Karena penerbangannya dibatalkan, saya harus kembali satu hari lebih lambat dari yang direncanakan. Ini pertama kalinya saya merasakan hotel backpacker, dan itu sangat bagus. Kami tiba jam sepuluh, karena check-out terakhir dari hotel adalah jam 11, dan kami sudah memesan tur kastil pada jam 11. Mungkin sudah melewati waktu pengambilan kunci jam 7. ketika kami kembali ke hotel setelah seharian bersenang-senang, namun petugas masih sangat aktif membantu kami menemukan jalan.Semuanya diurus dengan sangat baik, memungkinkan kami menghabiskan hari dengan bahagia tanpa gangguan. Sebagai hotel backpacker, bagus banget. Overall kamarnya sangat nyaman dan hangat. Kami dikasih kamar triple di lantai paling atas dengan double bed dan single bed. Orang lanjut usia tidak perlu khawatir naik turun . Kamar mandi bersama di lantai juga sangat bersih dan rapi, dan teman sekamar yang berbagi juga menggunakannya dengan baik. Sangat nyaman terdapat wastafel di dalam kamar, sangat nyaman untuk mencuci buah-buahan, mencuci tangan, menggosok gigi dan muka. Kamar juga memiliki TV dan brankas kecil. Meja samping tempat tidur dilengkapi dengan cermin, lemari laci laci dan lemari yang lucu. Saran kecil saya adalah akan lebih baik jika ada lebih banyak tempat untuk menggantung pakaian, kalau tidak menurut saya sangat bagus.
