Stopped for one night after a long day of walking. The reception and rooms were tastefully decorated. Our room (Oxford) didn’t have air conditioning, although it didn’t seem to have had much sun shining in through the day so wasn’t too hot when we went in. The bathroom was clean and the shower good, but the light and fan could not be turned on or off by a switch and came on each time anyone opened the bathroom door. Unfortunately our stay was negatively affected by an outdoor concert that was taking place almost directly across from our room with extremely loud music until after 2am.

A nice small room , well furnished with good linen and a comfy bed . We slept well , there is no kettle in the room or water left . We ate in their Boutique Hotel 1930, a very good well served meal in lovely surroundings . Breakfast was served in their nearby cafe , I think the hostess must have been having a bad day , we are not fluent in Spanish and I think she wanted us gone by 8.30 , the other guests in the cafe before and afterwards had the sane experience , we felt very unwelcome

The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant they own is excellent. The problems were, no coffee, no cups or glasses, tiny trash can and the restaurant was several blocks away. We were on the Camiño de Santiago and didn’t need to walk another step that evening.

This pension is a little gem. Rosanna the hotel front desk, is truly amazing. She was friendly and helpful. She went the extra mile when she noticed my husbands feet were torn up from the Camino and offered us the first floor room next to the pool, so he would not have to take the stairs. The room was super cute and clean. I enjoyed a dip in the refreshing pool and the location is close to everything.

Three of us walked from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela in 5 days. We did NOT expect this jewel of a hotel along the Way. The proprietors were warm, welcoming, and accommodating and the facilities were comfortable and full of beauty. We had dinner at their 1930 restaurant which felt more like fine dining that pilgrim fare and the breakfast at their other restaurant was a cut above other breakfasts along the Camino. We didn't need luxury...but it was delightful to have, nonetheless. Especially after a very long day of walking hills and valleys. La Casona de Nene was truly a treat.

Great place to stay in Arzua! This was the cutest boutique hotel to stay at while walking the Camino. We had a very long day and were late to check in. The staff waited for us and even arranged to have our bags brought up to our room. It was great to have our bags in our room after such a long walk. Breakfast was very nice the next morning and a great way to start the next day. I recommend La Casona De Nene because of our quality of stay and the service of the staff.

Unable to find Hotel due to lack of signage. Manager said it has been its existence for 7 years and no one has the issue. The Hotel tries to be classic and has antiques to showcase But it has rusty amenity’s tray in the bathroom and fungus on the wooden side cabinet.

This was the cutest botique hotel. Everything was clean and check in went smoothly. The check in woman was so very nice and help with our luggage to the floor we were staying. They offered breakfast, but it was at a different location. That wasn't a problem for us as we were staying one night and left the next morning to walk more of the Camino. We stopped in at the breakfast location and then were on our way. No problems. Do not hesitate to book here.

This place was very special. The lady who checked us in took great pains to see that we were comfortable after walking all day. Recently redone and well decorated rooms. We ate at their other hotel, The 1930, a short walk away and it was a great meal. Very good food and service.
