Coral Sands Apartments

We had an excellent stay at the Coral Sands. Brent and Eve were great hosts providing plenty of insights on Rarotonga with lots of tips and tricks on what to do, where to visit and where to eat. thanks Brent and Eve. Facilities were great and location was also great.

Lovely atmosphere. Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Great place to relax by the pool or a short stroll to the beautiful lagoon. This is my third stay here and have never been disappointed. The staff and owners are welcoming, helpful and efficient.

We stayed here 14 nights. This was our 4th trip to Rarotonga and best value accom. we have had. Quiet clean accommodation in a small complex with lovely swimming pool,and beach just a short stroll away. On the sunset side of island and a short walk along beach to several restaurants. Bus stops out front. Plenty of room to park your rental car. Owners were friendly and helpful. Their two staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Our one bedroom unit was around the back with private walled small garden. Spent alot of time at the great pool area. There was always a fun vibe at the beach each night. Sacha kept the pool and grounds very clean. We saw whales from the beach each day. Unit was very clean, thanks Angel. Well equipt kitchen and even some bread and milk when we got there. A small phone in room to get you started, but we used roaming pkg . We found on arrival that we needed to pay an unexpected and unknown $120 extra for aircon- (worth every penny tho). We took fly spray for the ants and kept things in the sistema box provided- they are an issue across the island, and a spray each day kept them at bay. Nice freindly management. Bed was firm. DVDs and snorkling stuff available. Rooms around the pool would have made this a 5 star for us :) Great location and easy walk to Castaway and Waterline- both beachy vibe. walk along road one way and beach the other, Use your torch to walk at night. We used the bus to get around mostly , 30$ for 10 rides and pop your arm up to get them to stop. Must do- turtles with SMALL group provider. Creative Centre- print your own sarong, and money goes to assist people with disability. Anybody can do this- it is rolled on over a stencil and water veiw. Couldnt do Captain Tama cruise due to high wind, but everyone we met has said it was great

We had 7 nights in 3 bedroom apartment and was perfect for our family. Well equipped, clean, quiet and spacious. Brent and Eve were lovely hosts. Our kids loved the pool and wandering down to the beach for a snorkel. Location was handy with Beluga Cafe just a few minutes walk down road, Castaways and Waterline restaurants a short distance along the beach.

I stayed here for a week and was happy happy with my choice. Very clean and comfortable apartment with pretty much so everything I needed, it even had a blender which isn't very common. Even when the tide's out there are still rock pools there which was lovely. They have a seat for when you're waiting for the bus, and you're a short walk to many facilities. Even though I grabbed DVDs from my local library in Auckland they actually had a good selection of their own. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating and they've done a great job in renovating the property.
