SeaBeds - Luxury Lookouts with Hot Tubs

Lovely place, beautiful view. We loved hot tub! We stayed for a night, only one thing I can complain is we have only 3 small bottles of juices and 2 small bottles of milk for 4 people and 3 chairs.

Loved this Seabed cabin, very luxurious with everything covered. hot tub outside and the cinema setup (projector and hidden screen in lounge) with great streaming support from phone to watch films etc, great for bad weather. Staff and service great too. Enjoyed the breakfast basket delivered daily to the door. Highly recommend

We loved our stay at Seabeds! The lodges are beautiful and the attention to detail is fabulous. However, there were a few things that could be improved. Firstly, we arrived on an extremely cold night (minus temperatures) and there was a very strong smell of damp the whole time we were there, and extreme condensation on the windows/doors.. it did improve slightly when we turned the heating on but then the heating could only be turned up to a certain temperature and for a certain time which is very much not ideal when staying in the Scottish Highlands - we had a very cold and uncomfortable sleep. There also only seemed to be limited hot water which my partner unfortunately discovered half way through his shower, so this would not be great if more than two people were staying. Due to these issues, I would say the lodges are also massively overpriced, they are beautiful but for the price you pay, you expect a 5* plus stay and unfortunately that is not what we got.

Could do with a good clean, especially the outdoor decking. Take slip on shoes for getting in and out as the decking is slipperly and cracked at some parts. If you plan on eating in the pod - there is no oven and an extremely small fridge.

Location was stunning. The seapods were wonderful. The customer service was poor and didn't match up to the location, the pods or the price tag. When we arrived, we were told that the keys were at our pod but this wasn't the case and we had to wait outside for half an hour whilst the keys were located. We had booked a half day activity session with the intention of doing laser clay pigeon shooting and e bikes but were told that both were unavailable which was disappointing so we had been booked into archery and segways instead (which we did enjoy but wouldn't have booked). We paid for a bbq and a fire pit seperatly but were told they are both the same thing - how is it possible to pay for the same thing twice when you can only use one at time?!? We took chicken with us to cook on the bbq but there wasn't enough coals to cook the chicken properly. When we spoke to reception, they said that we should use wood for the bbq- although we all know that wood is a carcogen if used to cook food (and we had paid for a bbq!!!). At 8.30am on our check out day, we got a note in our breakfast basket saying that if we were late checking out, we would be charged £95. This isn't the service that we would expect for £500 per night- if you compare to similarly priced venues like the Fife Arms- where the customers needs are looked after. In short the location and pods were wonderful but the customer service was poor and let the customer experience down.

The area felt secluded, despite there being numerous other cabins around. The hot tub was great, very private, and the cabin itself was super high tech!

Very spectacular place with nice hospitality. Amazing amenities and nice jacuzzi. Breathtaking view just a bit much midges but that’s wildlife. Love the view when waking up on sofa bed and breakfast already delivered to us everyday. However the fire pit sadly doesn’t work well…

Excellent stay, very comfortable. Hot tub was fantastic.

We stayed for 2 nights for our wedding. The team helped on all accounts and the rose petals and champagne were the icing on the cake. The lodge we had was lodge 1, we were very private ,with trees to one side meaning no one was over looking us. The lodge was immaculate, high standard of finish throughout. The view was perfect for us, sunshine with a wee breeze and the midges really with the wood burner on as dusk came no bother to us . “Smidge” was included and we both used that before we ventured out, very helpful. I cannot fault the woodlands set up, if I am really looking to find anything maybe some throws to use would be nice to sit out later. Oh worth noting if you want some music do take a Bluetooth speaker as we didn’t want the projector and screen on but still wanted some music when watching rh view and sunset . The projector was fab though later and just casts whatever is on your phone no app or anything needed to use.
