I stay at this hotel whenever I’m in Aiken. I was disappointed this time with a non-stop running toilet, and the front desk had nobody available to fix it, so I had to switch rooms. I was downgraded to a smaller room, and then one night I was there, the noise level overnight was beyond unacceptable. There was a huge group that made way too much noise in the lobby and running up and down the halls late at night. I got no sleep and had an early flight so that was less than fun. I did call the front desk and he said he’d ask them to quiet down. That was short lived. I understand a hotel can only do so much, but as much as I travel, I’d honestly say that noise level was some of the worst I’ve experienced and staff should be able to take action to prevent or minimize that kind of thing. I pay good money for a nice hotel and don’t want that level of noise. Ironically, on my last day, the toilet in the new room began running continuously too, just like the first room!
