Nice straight forward hotel. Not luxurious but clean with nice beds, decent towels etc. despite being located inside a motorway service station, very quite too. Tea/coffee facilities are provided along with Freeview TV. Good value for money.

Hotel was easy to find with plenty parking, although this was in the main service station carpark. Check-in was efficient. Room was spacious, with a double bed, single bed, two comfortable chairs and desk. TV was working properly. En-suite bathroom with shower, bath and towels. Dinner available next door. Breakfast items available on a good counter. Would stay here again, as it's good value for money.

A good place to stop on a long drive. Friendly staff and comfortable, if not a little basic rooms. Service area attached is pretty good as they go.

The rating I am giving is based on the price. Is it a 5 star hotel? No. Is it a great option for a cheap stay? Of course. We had an issue in the room and the staff moved us straight away, no questions asked after they couldn't fix the issue. Left alone to just get on with things and check out a doddle.

In one word, this place is tired. A big piece of plastic laminate was torn off the sideboard, leaving mdf exposed. A big area of paint had peeled off the bathroom door. One pillow was lumpy. The sealant around the sink has been re-done by an amateur. I’d have rated it lower, but at ＜£50 you don’t expect perfection. At least the staff were helpful, and linen was clean.
