Overall, a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Super excellent price paid on Trip.com. Unfortunately, there were a few things that occurred that spoiled the stay a little bit, but not enough to stop us from staying here again in the future. The one elevator broke down and we had to climb to the 5th floor on a couple of occasions. Reception staff did offer to carry luggage/provide assistance if required. Had to use the stairs to get downstairs when the elevator wasn't working. When we used the stairwell nearest room 524, we were unable to exit to the reception/breakfast area. Had to climb back up stairs to another floor, then walk along corridor to stairs nearest elevator. I requested that a sign be attached to door indicating that no exit to reception....an emergency exit to outdoors only, but this wasn't done, although I was told it would be passed on to the relevant person to action. The elevator was fixed during our stay. Charging points/plugs stopped working during the night so that devices weren't fully charged in the morning. Reception agreed to alert electrician to check this out. Breakfast was more extensive than previously. Additional cooked items available, making it a great alternative to paying for an English breakfast at a more expensive hotel (although not as extensive as a FULL English). Plenty of cereal, bread, pastries, mini pancakes and drinks. All staff always pleasant and did their best to accommodate an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is conveniently located just off the M4 in Swindon. We used it as a stop off while driving dueing the night. The hotel itself was very festively decorated with lots of Christmas decorations, which was great, ot felt very warm and welcoming. The 24 hour reception desk was one of the reasons we chose the hotel as we were arriving at midnight and the staff memver who checked us in was very professional and welcoming. The car park only had a few spaces left which worried us but we did get a space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there was no heating in our room. There is no central heating so they have put in A/C/heater units on the walls. Our seemed to be broken as it blew out cold air for 30 minutes before we decided to turn it off. We had been travelling for 26 hours at that point and it was gone midnight so I didn't want to go back to the reception desk and risk having to change rooms when we were already so tired. So we layered up and went to bed with jumpers & socks. I asked for a portable heater the next morning at breakfast and they put one in within 5 minutes so that getting ready in the morning wasn't so cold. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the team. There is no heating in the bathroom either. It was a shame because everything else about the hotel was fine. The breakfast was good too. Perfect for a 1 night stop-over. However, I wouldn't recommend it for winter.

Excellent reception staff on arrival friendly and helpful, bar was nice and relaxing plenty of places to sit and drink...restaurant looked equally as nice although we didn't eat ...pool looked plenty big and gym facilities looked good to ...we only stayed one night so didn't use everything but I would definitely stay again ...room was a good size bathroom looked a little tired but was nice and clean plenty of towels ect and soap,hand lotion, body wash,shampoo ect was nice for a quick shower before check out.

This hotel is very pleasant, I like the hotel environment, it is really beautiful, the front desk service is also warm, the breakfast is rich, the bed is very comfortable, all of which makes us feel very good.

Lovely hotel, polite and friendly staff, ample parking, excellent location in the heart of town. Only negative is the stains on the bathroom walls that could easily be removed with a little more attention to detail and the cold tap hardly let out any water. Unfortunately there wasn't any real ale available whilst we were there thus stopping us from enjoying that facility.

”Our stay at DoubleTree Hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities provided. We especially appreciated the warm cookies upon arrival, a nice touch that added to the welcoming atmosphere. While the decor may be somewhat dated, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions. Overall, DoubleTree Hotel provided us with a satisfactory stay and good value for the price.”

The staff were lovely! However we were placed in a room where the tv did not work, the window didn’t shut completely, and we had no hot water. The staff were amazing and the location was great if you have a car!

Hit the jack pot with the White Horse Inn. This bed and breakfast is a gem if you’re looking for a quiet and secluded getaway. The rooms are comfy, service is very friendly and the food is delicious. Enjoy everything about the White Horse and highly recommended.

We drove all the way from London to WHATLEY MANOR, the location is really rural bit quiet. IT IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL MANOR SINCE 1929. We booked a suite room and upgraded to extra single bed for my son and cost 150£, which is considered very expensive. We booked for 2 nights and it cost us 1500£, [ breakfast included ] in my opinion is very pricey for this location. I think their selling points are spa, sauna, thermal room , hydro pool but for Asian , it is too common for us.The beds are very comfortable, room is very spacious and cozy, provide good quality amenities. They have really beautiful garden good for walking and reading books. Beside price, everything is good.

Fantastic location right in the centre of Devizes. On entrance no offer to carry bags upstairs and no lift available. Room was quirky with great character but the great view the receptionist commented on at check in was directly into room 14!!!! Not quite what we were expecting so curtains remained closed all weekend. We did not eat here as all a bit pricey and poncy. Fab restaurants in and around the square. Room was comfortable enough and shower was lovely even if the controls were at the other end of the shower and you got wet just turning it on. Suited our needs for 2 nights just a shame no room service for food when classed as a hotel.
