Hotel Bintang 4 di Luksemburg, Luksemburg

I stayed at the DoubleTree Luxembourg with my 80-year-old father, who is unwell and was extremely tired after a long day of travelling. Unfortunately, the room we were given was right next to the elevator motors, and the noise kept both of us awake almost the entire night. My father finally managed to fall asleep around 7:00–7:30 AM after hours of discomfort. However, at 8:00 AM, there was a knock on our door. I opened it half-asleep, and the staff member simply said “It’s ok” and walked away. I later saw the same person again in uniform, so clearly they were a member of the hotel team. I still cannot understand why they knocked at that time, and what exactly was “ok,” especially when it was obvious the room had severe noise issues and guests could still be resting. I shared all of this with the reception team and politely asked to speak with the manager. Instead of a brief conversation or even a quick acknowledgment, I was handed a handwritten note with the manager’s email. After travelling with an elderly parent who was in pain and exhausted, I was genuinely hoping for a bit of understanding or empathy. Even a short apology would have meant a lot at that moment. I should mention that breakfast was also quite basic and didn’t match the DoubleTree standard I’m familiar with, so overall the stay was unfortunately far below what I usually experience with Hilton properties. I’m writing this not to complain for the sake of complaining, but because the situation placed my father—who is already unwell—under a lot of unnecessary stress. As a loyal Hilton Honors member, this experience was difficult for me, and I sincerely hope management can review what happened and decide on an appropriate way to make this right.

Kelebihan: Hotel ini masih sangat baru, fasilitasnya modern dan indah, suasananya sangat aman, tersedia bus gratis di depan pintu yang langsung menuju pusat kota, hotelnya tenang tetapi terdapat beberapa restoran yang dapat dicapai dengan berjalan kaki selama 5 menit, yang sangat nyaman. Ketika saya tiba, masih ada 4 jam sebelum waktu check-in, dan saya membayar 30 euro untuk check-in lebih awal. Saya melewatkan sarapan keesokan harinya karena saya salah ingat waktu. Resepsionis menyediakan croissant dan jus jeruk, yang secara keseluruhan cukup baik. Kekurangan: Kamar mandi tidak memiliki pintu, yang mungkin agak merepotkan jika bersama teman-teman; sinyal Wi-Fi sangat tidak stabil, yang sangat mengganggu pekerjaan, dan saya hanya dapat menggunakan hotspot seluler; sarapan tutup pada waktu tertentu; pada hari terakhir, saya melihat kecoa mati di bawah wastafel.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Cravat in Luxembourg, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel beautifully blends historical charm with modern luxury. My spacious room offered stunning city views, and the elegant decor adds to its allure. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing my stay. Breakfast in the lovely dining room featured a delicious selection of local dishes. Its prime location made it easy to explore nearby attractions. Overall, the Grand Hotel Cravat is a superb choice for anyone looking to experience the charm and elegance of Luxembourg. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and assisting front desk staff, lobby has kids friendly play station, about 10mins walk from lux train station, room and toilet is clean and well-furnished.

Muito agradável, limpo e bem situado. Só sugeria que a água do duche fosse mais quente. Pareceu-me mais morna do que quente. De resto, nada a apontar. Fiquei muito bem impressionada.

Menginap yang menyenangkan dengan fasilitas yang baik Saya menginap tiga malam di Hotel Legere di Luksemburg. Kamar dan hotelnya sendiri bersih dan terawat dengan baik. Tersedia sauna, yang merupakan bonus yang menyenangkan. Namun, saya melewatkan jacuzzi atau kolam renang untuk relaksasi lebih lanjut. Barnya merupakan nilai tambah yang pasti: pelayanan yang baik dan koktail yang lezat. Secara keseluruhan, pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan hotel ini layak untuk dikunjungi kembali.

Great hotel for a business trip, with meeting rooms and perfeclty located in the European Quartier. In this case, however, I went with my family. Room was fantastic and service impeccable. Recommend!

Mooi hotel, ziet er netjes uit schone kamers en vriendelijk personeel. Wat ik een nadeel vond was dat er geen airco in de kamer aanwezig was en het ontzettend heet was in het hotel. Ook vond ik het bijzonder dat je 25 euro per persoon zou moeten betalen om gebruik te kunnen maken van het zwembad. Je komt daar heen voor de omgeving, was lekker geweest als je dan bijvoorbeeld in de ochtend of avond nog even een uurtje had kunnen zwemmen maar daar ga ik geen 25 euro p.p voor betalen.

Everything was great—the staff were very friendly and the room was so clean and comfortable. Very easy to access to the tram station and supermarket/restaurants.  There is a small kitchen (microwave, small fridge, kettle and sink) inside the room but no plates or cutlery.
