Best Western Plus Grand Hotel Victor Hugo

The location of the hotwl oa good. The rooms are big and clean but you meed to be very careful about their location within the hotel: with a street view, they will be noisy (very passing street and lots of people talking well into the night). The rooms on the other side are quieter. The soundproofing is close to non existant so you may still be exposed to people yelling, laughing or talking loudly. We had this issue and the staff helped us change room, although it took a bit of negotiating as their first reaction was that the noise was not their problem. Last, rooms marked as having a double bed convertible into two singles are truly not (see picture). You can hav two matresses, but given the closeness of the bedside tables, you cannot properly separate the beds.

In this trial I traveled Dubai, Barcelona, Brussels and Luxembourg. I rate this hotel is best of all . The room size and mattress, wash room every thing was on point. I give 5 on the scale of 5. Great satisfaction with this stay 🤗

Remarkably clean! Whilst dated, it stands out as a great cost effective option in Luxembourg. I arrived at 11:00am and they gave me an early check in and I got a king sized bed instead of the single that I paid for. Can't fault it! Location is specular, 20 minutes to the airport, right on the tram line and a less than 10 minute walk to the city centre. Highly recommend!

Excellent location near the old town, Kirchberg and transport hub to other parts of the City and country. Good no frills option for both business and pleasure travellers. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised with the room size, it had a lounge area which included a sofa bed. The staff were friendly in reception and the location was convenient to the city centre

(+) hotel is 10 or 15 minute walk from the city centre and less than 30 minutes from the airport by tramway or bus. Staff is nice and helpful. There is a gym room. (-) The hotel is quite old.

The single room I booked was clean, but quite small and simple - I would even call it spartan. The staff was not very friendly; I would have expected a bit more. Still, I was not turned away :). The location is convenient, close to both the historical center and the European Quarter. I would stay there again, but without any high expectations.

all goes well. location, service, rooms and everything is great. thanks.

Good, basic room. Easy check in process and friendly staff. Close to transport for airport
