Hotel 5-Star di Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Morocco

The room is large and quiet, with a beautiful view outside the window. It is close to the beach and the train station. The hotel service is very good, and the staff often ask if you are satisfied. The breakfast is rich and more suitable for Chinese tastes than Western food.

We booked a deluxe king-size bed room with sea view on the first floor, which is actually the second floor in China. The view is very good, but the balcony door is very noisy when it is opened, so you must close the door. Also, moisture will escape after the door is opened, so the door must be closed, otherwise the sheets and quilts will feel wet and take a while to get better. The breakfast is very rich. I still recommend it. The facilities inside are very new. There are two restaurants outside the back door, which are pretty good.

Beautiful hotel, amazing pool, delicious variety of breakfast, overpriced lunch, but be-aware that this hotel is on the outskirts of Tangier, so very far from the centre about 1 hour drive if your lucky with the traffic! also if you don’t have a car then this hotel is not suitable for you, as medina taxis don’t come here, it cost £35 for a vip taxi from the hotel and that’s expensive.

Had a good varieties of seafood fresh dishes made by the chef Simo. All staff members where polite and serviceable at 100%.

The hotel merits the 5 star rating. Excellent all around. Breakfast is worth praising for the selection and quality of the produce. The staff is very attentive to guests' needs and comfort. A word of praise for the assistant floor/reception manager who out of his way to see to it that my stay was pleasant and memorable. Would only advise not to arrange airport pick-up through the hotel. The service will cost more than double that of a regular taxi. Otherwise, and as a seasoned world traveler, I strongly recommend the hotel.

Sorry to say that we do not believe the hotel is up to its 5 star standard. It is a good hotel and the hotel does take care to look after it and make it enjoyable for people staying but if you are expecting 5 star quality it will let you down. In the room, inside the kettle, the coffee cup and the spoon were dirty (these hadn’t had a clean before us arriving), there was an awful sewage smell coming from the drain in the shower so bad that if we didn’t shut the bathroom door ah all times our room smelt revolting (this was room 336) I don’t know if it’s a general thing or just unlucky with the room. It felt like at times staff would favour people who have stayed at the hotel before (regulars) or people who had been staying there for a few days rather than welcoming new people. Finally, to top off our stay here, 5am we needed to leave for the airport, we asked the reception if he would kindly just call us a taxi, he told us this would be a charge of 250 DHR (we already knew this should have been no more than 150), we said no thank you walked into the street and got a taxi for 100 DHR. Very bad

The hotel is not in the city center but at the beach. The room size is very large. The service is good, but the price of the car charter is too expensive, and the euro is paid at the time of settlement, but the Dirham is deliberately changed. Others are fine.

The hotel is beyond your imagination! The hardware is very good, and it can capture the feeling of a palace at night, but because of the wind and rain, such a good facility is wasted. But the service is really good. First of all, the staff here are very good-looking. They are completely different from those with dark and short faces you see outside. From the entrance security, you feel a different aura! The guys at the front desk are excellent from tall stature to talking, which country they look at. During my stay, it happened to be my birthday, and my husband told the front desk. So he helped us set up the room and prepared the cake. Surprises again and again! This hotel can be very expensive in the summer. We are staying now and the price is not bad. I hope to stay next time!
