Hotel was a little run down and the rooms were only to be expected for being around 150+ year old hotel, the bathroom was a little updated and pleasant. The lifts were very bad and non responsive, had to walk down the stairs which is not ideal if we had mobility issues, the breakfast was, Well let's just say Avoid!! Customer service was a little bit patronising to say the least. All in all probably a 3/10 if being kind.

Simple but lovely hotel. Right in the centre of all the local amenities. Loads of parking available right outside the front of the hotel. Get yourself in the coaster opposite the hotel live singers and cheap drinks in the daytime.

Really nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a twin cabin room (no others available)basic but comfortable and very clean, warm, TV, complimentary tea and coffee. A phone for room service if required. The breakfast was a buffet with everything you could possibly want to start you off for the day. We had a meal in the restaurant Friday evening which was really lovely with again great staff. Hotel is close to Liverpool lime street train station. Though it didn't upset our stay there was a party Friday and Saturday night that was very loud and went on till 1am It would have been nice to have been given this information.

Excellent location for a visit to Albert Dock and to the city centre for shopping. Staff are professional ,friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere and very clean. The onsite parking is a definite 5 stars plus. Thank you Ibis Liverpool you made my stay very special.

SSqrz_96Great stay at the Knowsley. The staff were friendly and there is parking which is a bonus. The rooms were generally clean but the dining area could have been cleaner - some crockery needed re-cleaning. The fire alarm went off mid way through the night but was quickly dealt with. The breakfast was OK - a good selection of food but the ingredients were of low quality and quite greasy. I'd stay here again however but would go elsewhere for breakfast.

DDonna TuckwellGood - Front desk were polite and helpful and helped us restock on tea and toilet roll Average - Room was OK, cleanish but a closer look the mattresses and other spots were very unclean. Outside windows haven't been cleaned in a while either. Bad - The room design had a weird AI pic as wallpaper. No plug in bathtub so shower was only option. The bed was supposed to be king yet it was 2 small mattresses on a king size base. Very uncomfortable trying to sleep when they keep sliding apart. The room we were in (109) was directly above a pub and there's no sound proofing, you can hear Cheryl's bad karaoke version of gimme a man at 2am like you're there in the room with her. Overall - We didn't pay much so not too fussed but the staff were great but the company needs to clean, repair and make vast improvements to the rooms like getting the right size mattress would be a start.
