Hotel 3-Star di Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil

I wasn't satisfied with the details. The flushing in the room was small, and when I washed my hands, my hands were hit, and the drain valve was immediately clogged and the water leaked. The room was not very sunny. 細かい所で満足いかなかったです。部屋の水まわりが小さくて手洗い時に手が当たったり、すぐに排栓が詰まったりして水が漏れたりしました。また日当たりが悪かったです。しかし日本人の感覚で言ってるのでこれが普通かもしれません。（すいません、写真忘れました）

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the friendly staff. We were even able to check into our room earlier than expected, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience!

I’d describe this hotel as utilitarian. No decor or warmth at all. The common areas are spacious and quite bare.Table and chairs at the restaurant are plain brown wood, The lobby is sparsely furnished with some worn , drab and very uncomfortable seats. Bathrooms are the same. Just the very bare essentials, not even a box of tissue paper ( and thin toilet paper) We travelled long hours,  arrived at 22:00 looking forward to a good shower …not to be. We were up for a bad start. There  was just a trickle of water not enough to bathe or properly brush teeth either. That could have been a whole area problem as we were told that water pressure can sometimes drop in some areas of the city. We changed rooms , water pressure  wasn’t much better the next day either, the water flow improved just a little and remained as such the whole week. We had paid for 5 nights and ended up staying as the city was packed that week . To go looking for another hotel during the G20 summit which Rio was hosting that week of November 2024 would not be an easy task.  On the positive side, staff was pleasant and accommodating, bed was comfortable and from our perspective, the breakfast buffet was the best feature of this hotel offering abundant variety of  food to meet all tastes- cereal, fruits and cheeses, cold cuts, several hot savory breakfast  dishes - incl. some Brazilian regional dishes as well, a huge selection of breads, cakes, good coffee, and more. Very satisfying. Including breakfast in the booking is highly recommended.  The good fare offered at the hotel at lunch and dinner not good at all. However, there are also three of four restaurants lined up on a small stretch within 5 min walking distance of the hotel- one of them is a very good authentic European Portuguese cuisine and wine. Aprox. US$ 52 for a meal for two. On the same cluster of shops there is a well established Brazilian cuisine restaurant with a good menu where one can eat well for anything  between US$ 12  to US$ 15 and a steak house similar to the Australian Outback steak house.  There are also other eateries snd convenience shops, a pharmacy on the same stretch ( 5 min walk ffrom the hotel) including a 24 hr laundromat where one can expect to wash and dry a load for about US$ 7.  As for location, this hotel is not close to the most well known districts of Rio - places like Copacabana, Ipanema , Leblon - but Barra da Tijuca is a special area in itself and arguably has the best beach in town. The hotel is just a 10 - 15 min taxi ride to Barra Shopping-  the largest and best shopping mall in the whole state of Rio de Janeiro where one can find anything,  including restaurants (recommend trying Jappa all you can eat Japanese food spread for US$ 26 as in Nov 2024). On the whole , when compared with the fashionable and pricey districts of Copacabana , Ipanema Leblon  this hotel is good value for money . I’d stay there again if they fixed the shower situation b’cause this feature matters for me.

There was a confusion at the time of check-in I had booked two rooms and there was only one in my name. The hotel could check the sanitary vessel caps because in the two apartments were loose , they are of very poor quality, the air conditioning when I called started to drop down the water without stop but immediately I complained and a boy from the maintenance and saw a problem

You can take free shuttle bus from the airport 24 hours. It is good place to stay when you arrive the airport late night.

Relatively good hotel. I've stayed twice, once on the first floor and the room met my needs completely. On Monday, they made an accessible room available, and the bathroom left a lot to be desired with some broken items, and a leak from the boxer shorts that ran water out.

Pros A nice hotel with good proximity to the beach and shops. For the price we paid it was Ok. Cannot complain but also cannot rave about it. Breakfast was good but could be better. Cons: The toilet could be better designed, the shower head needs changing. They need to buy new towels for the rooms as they are worn out.

The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The water pressure of the bathroom tap is low and the breakfast is rich. The hotel is conveniently located, with many restaurants around. It is 70 meters away from the subway entrance. It is a recommended budget hotel for traveling in Rio de Janeiro

Great accommodation! I like staying at the Riale, especially because of its location in Catete, close to the subway and the Museu da República, shops, restaurants, pharmacies and the Flamego park, which is a wonderful tourist attraction in Rio de Janeiro. However, I still think the hotel needs to be renovated. The daily rate does not match the accommodations offered. The cleanliness is excellent and the breakfast is reasonable. However, when the room key card did not open the door, I had to walk back to the reception through the huge, hot hallways. I stayed in a room with an air conditioner so old that the noise did not let me sleep well. I shared the room with a friend and we could not use the bathroom in private because the bathroom door did not close. The staff is very friendly, but they forgot some cosmetics in the shower and did not even contact me to let me know, which I thought was rude.

However, in relation to price vs quality it is acceptable. Basic for a tourist stay in Rio. Breakfast is served every day the same, however it is a buffet and you can put together different dishes.

The hotel is located just 1 minute from the beach, the attention is spectacular.

Excellent accommodation for family and children. A comfortable hostel, excellent staff and with great fun for children.

The service at the pool by the waiters, especially Danilo, deserves a round of applause. The menu has fair prices for different tastes and dishes. Everything very delicious. Don't forget to try the super filling shrimp pastry and the sun-dried meat with cassava. We didn't like the noise from the air conditioning, and the service from the reservations department, staff who were harsh in their responses. Excellent pool. Location note 1000

otima pousada, café da manhã excepcional!! atentes educados, atenciosos, td perfeito. Cama maravilha, roupa de cama mto cheirosa, banheiro com varal, pra quem vai a praia ajuda mto. maravilhosa a pousada. 10 min do das ruas das pedras caminhando.

The hostel and beautiful ! The swimming pool at night and what is most beautiful, to drink just moon ! ! I was just sad because it was my birthday and they promised a commemorative cake and for 3 times I warned the 3 reception and they even gave my cake .... I went away without !

Great service, as well as breakfast

Excellent hostel, pleasant location, careful care, very good service, besides being a few steps from the sand of the beach of Ferradura.

I made a family trip and asked to make a full pension for 2 days, and the official who attended us at the reception on Sunday said we had no right to Sunday lunch on the day of exit. I knew we had a good time, because we were in the evening of Friday and had only had dinner, so we had the right to 2 lunches and 2 dinners, we delivered the room at the scheduled time, but we would leave the hotel just after lunch. And only after my question at the reception, he asked us for a while, leaving us shocked, and when we were going out he said we would have the right to lunch. But I had already been annoyed with the situation and I prefered to leave without lunch, we lost even appetite. Summary: We're going to get more experienced people at the hotel reception, or better treat this kind of matter with the staff of the hotel. We can't go through this kind of constraint OK. I lost the lunch paid to the hotel for my family for this situation.

No appreciation from the customer, the night before check out, we received a call from reception to “warn” us about the obligation to carry out check eight the following day at 11:00, information that we had already received when checking in, completely unnecessary and disrespectful to the guest

Air conditioning, freezer, good to enjoy with the family, accepts pets. Photos are exactly like the hotel, rooms and bathroom. The beach of Geriba has a great infrastructure to walk with the family.
