Iberotel Luxor
4.2/5210 Reviews
The hotel has great gardens, restaurants and a pool that overlook the river. These amenities are well maintained and give the hotel glamour. They are unbeatable. Should I say, if the outside grounds was like the inside the hotel this will be the best hotel in Luxor. Unfortunately the rooms needs some updating. On the other hand, the restaurant staff is super serviceable. Taking everything into account this hotel is excellently priced. I would return to enjoy the river from the lovely gardens.
Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor
4/5121 Reviews
The old resort used to be the Mövenpick in Luxor. It has one hotel on one island and is mostly populated by Chinese. Apart from being old, it has no other disadvantages. The restaurant is also very affordable, and the prices include taxes and service charges, which makes people feel very comfortable.
Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel
3.7/5109 Reviews
This Aracan Hotel is great! It exceeded our expectations. 1. The hotel is located on the Nile River in Luxor, facing the cruise ship terminal, and the transportation is very convenient. The train station is 1.5 kilometers to the east, the Luxor Temple is 500 meters to the south of the hotel, and the Karnak Temple is 2 kilometers to the north. 2. The hotel is large, with first-class facilities, a beautiful and spacious lobby, a clean large swimming pool in the garden, and several restaurants with different flavors. 3. The hotel offers various tour arrangements, Egyptian-style massages, etc. 4. The rooms are large and comfortable, well-equipped, and each room has a balcony with views of the Nile River. 5. The room rate includes breakfast, and the food supply is relatively rich. 6. The hotel staff has first-class service, warm and thoughtful, and helpful. When I was having dinner in the restaurant, I forgot my mobile phone on the table because I was busy with work. The waiter picked it up and handed it to the front desk. When I found that my mobile phone was not on me, I found it when I returned to the hotel. I am very grateful for the honest service of the hotel staff! 🙏🙏 7. It should be noted that the service in the hotel is very good and safe. But on the streets and tourist attractions, you will encounter some people who actively approach you, basically they are trying to solicit customers or collect tips. Don't let them get close to you, just wave your hand and say ”No” and stay away.
Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor - Convention Center
4.5/5351 Reviews
The hotel was okay. The facilities were good and the staff are very helpful. The room is a little dated but still very nice and clean with an amazing pool. We were upgraded to a Nile view which was nice. The sunsets by the pool are also gorgeous. Great location as base for day trips in Luxor. The only annoying thing was being pestered by vendors to buy at their shops inside the hotel(some wouldn’t take “no, thank you” for an answer), I understand they need to keep business going but all I wanted to do was relax by the pool after a long day of touring and fighting off vendors all day. The food here is also awful (gave free school hostel food vibes), we tried dinner twice and room service in addition to daily breakfast . We paid about 3000EGP for 1 buffet dinner and it was definitely not worth it. Our least favourite food from our 2weeks around Egypt. You can pay less for delicious food elsewhere. The stay here was okay and staff were generally friendly and nice. No expectations of or demanding tips.
Sonesta St. George Hotel - Convention Center
4.4/5149 Reviews
Facilities: Absolutely super five-star, super cost-effective, the hotel with the lowest price but the most perfect environment, facilities and services during this trip to Egypt. Service: The front desk helped to upgrade the room type for free, and you can see the Nile River view. The ladies are all very beautiful and will ask if you are satisfied with the upgraded room type after check-in. Of course I am satisfied! After that, the waiter will send fruit, which is really thoughtful! Environment: It looks very new, and it feels like a lot of money has been spent on decoration. It is 10,000 times better than the Hilton we stayed in Hurghada! !
The Temple Hotel & Spa
4.4/58 Reviews
Excellent hotel with great amenities. The room was clean and very good sized. The bathroom was also clean. We had the breakfast once and it was decent- a live egg station and a large variety of baked stuff, fruits, etc. However, the hotel had an issue with their water supply. One staff mentioned it was a problem with their water pump and another staff mentioned that it was a general issue in Luxor- I am not sure which is the accurate reason. They did provide water bottles as a substitution to the lack of water and opened up the spa on the mezzanine for showers. We had a 5:30am departure from the hotel so went to take a shower at 3:30 am after confirming with the reception. There was no staff at the spa and I had to figure out which shower to use and find my own set of towels. The least expectation during an issue like this would be to staff the spa and help guests out.
Queens Valley Hotel, Restaurants, Bars and Spa Luxor

Our view from the hotel room was so good. The hotel is close to one mall and you can shop your souveniers from there. Foods are good. In december sea was cold but it is okay. We had fun!
Pyramisa Hotel Luxor
3.8/554 Reviews
Good location near many restaurants and a pub or two. Very nice facilities and helpful staff. Breakfast included was okay, consistent every day, helpful that it was early. Rooms were a bit old but clean, comfortable bed, nice balcony, hot water. My only complaint was there was only one very inconveniently located outlet to plug in everything.
Steigenberger Achti Resort Luxor
4.1/5142 Reviews
The Steigenberger is located right on the Nile - you can sip a drink by the pool while overlooking the iconic river. The resort has 2 gorgeous - and much-needed - swimming pools, 2 a la carte restaurants (Italian and Lebanese), a main dining room, and some shops. In the garden, there is a tent with comfy seating where you can order tea, smoke some shisha and watch the evening’s entertainment. On the surface it looks great, but the fittings all seem a bit tired and quite “old school”. There’s a picture of Princess Diana visiting in the 80s/90s, and I did wonder if anything had been upgraded since then…
Pavillon Winter Luxor
4.4/5245 Reviews
Great experience it‘s nice stay because you see the flamingo and the nice Garden good to stay with together. Price is affordable, and convenient to visit luxor temple and market nearby. however the hotel is tricky about price, you need to pay by person, instead of pay by room. It cost you extra charge for stay more than one person, and the receipt shows below cannot identify which item was charged for.
