The best place to sty in Nanjing! Beautiful, clean, comfortable room, pleasant, friendly and attentive service, and an absolutely gorgeous view from the 65th floor! The location is perfect, right next to Catherine park and Gulou metro station. I especially loved the bed, it was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. 100% recommend!

This was the first hotel in China that made a strong impression on the exceptionally great service back when I was living in China back in 2009. Everything is effortless yet well thought of. I stayed at the Jinling Hotel 15 years ago with my wife. 15 years on we came back with our young children and the service remains as exceptionally impeccable. You can tell right from the GM (Mark) through to the front desk (Leo Huo) the service comes from the heart. Thank you Leo for taking care of me and my family during our short stay in Nanjing. Keep up the good work and looking forward to our next stay.

The hotel is in an outstanding location around the lake. Also close by are some shopping malls. The metro is a foot walk away that you can go everywhere. The bar inside offers good cocktail for a reasonable price. The highlight is definitely the breakfast. Large buffet and everything is offered from western style and China style. Will go there again.

Upon arrival, we have very joyful pleasurable welcome by the hotel service personnel. In view of our room is city view, we request to look into if lake view room, how much is require to pay. Mr. Xu, who attended to us provided us with free upgrade, we feel touch and impress. The Breakfast is good and there are full of variety of choices. For dinner, the hotel food is delicious and the service of the waitress is pleasant and friendly. We have a Wonderful stay at the hotel.

I have stayed at Youngor Fugong Hotel many times. This time I traveled with friends and chose this hotel again. It was still a great experience as before. The location of the hotel is great. It is located in the central area of ​​Suzhou Ancient City, which is convenient for going anywhere. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, and the room is cleaned promptly every day. The king-size bed room I stayed in this time faced a street, but the hotel window was very soundproof and very quiet.

The third stay for me in this hotel. I keep coming back because everything works very well here. The staff is friendly and professional. Location is great, there is a big shopping mall across the street and metro lines 3 and 1 are also nearby. I liked the large breakfast buffet, especially the noodle station. The room was maybe a bit old but large and quiet. Excellent price/quality.

Pros: Very good location for walking around Pingjiang road. Very handy Suzhou train station pick up service, would recommend utilising for anyone arriving by train. The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable. Cons: bathroom had a bad smell emanating from it. There was quite a lot of construction happening while we were there, started around 7am and didn’t finish until after midnight. Would recommend bringing ear buds. Shower pressure was ok but not amazing. There is also no elevator so you will need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the rooms which are all on the first floor.

The room is very good but I had some issues with the air conditioner and the fridge that weren’t working for the first night, which caused my family a significant amount of stress due to our baby’s food storage and sleep (the room got so hot that no one was able to sleep. The The reception however is very friendly and was really supportive. They fixed the problem on the second day of our stay! The breakfast is very simple, no western options but is super cheap, so still worth it. Overall a good place！

During my stay, I was deeply impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness of the front desk staff, particularly Cathy. She went above and beyond to make sure my check-in process was smooth and my questions were addressed with care. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and had a modern design that added to the comfort. I also appreciated the hotel’s wide range of facilities, including the indoor heated swimming pool and the on-site dining options, such as the Gourmet Bar and the Chinese and Western restaurants. Overall, my experience at Novotel Suzhou SIP was exceptional. The combination of its prime location, excellent amenities, and outstanding service makes it a top choice for anyone visiting Suzhou, whether for business or leisure. Highly recommended!

Really nice hotel and super position! The staff was super nice and helpful The only side note is about the smell. In my room there was a bad smell, I’ve said to them and they checked it and cleaned everything again but unfortunately nothing changed, it may be the pipes!

Good location with a metro station next door and many shopping centres and restaurants nearby. The rooms are of very good size. Booking a Club room with a small extra cost allows you to have a room on the higher floor and access to the executive lounge. Checkout time is 12pm but the hotel was happy to give me another extra 2 hours. There are a very limited number if rooms with (partial) a lake view.

Big room but small bed. Small tv compare hotel in this standing in china. Never find the coffee machine. Nice city view. Very close to the lake and to the Metro station. They took a deposit but it's not specify on the reservation.

I have never felt so compelled to write a review for a hotel. Our stay at Jinling Mandarin Garden Hotel Nanjing was a disappointing one. First of all the theme room we reserved was a very small room with view of another building with absolutely no privacy. The corridor and the room reeked of cigarette smoke at all time. So much so we had to turned off the centralised cooling system and rely on a fan I requested from the front desk. Anyway the cooling system was set at 23 and felt very stuffy. The light in the toilet turned off after a certain period and the motion sensor was not the most sensitive. I paid for comfort and do not appreciate to be dictate when and how to use them. I like my room to be 20C and lights on during the time I’m in the shower however long it takes. And absolutely do not appreciate to be subjected to inhale secondhand smoke for the last 2 days. It was a birthday celebration that has been ruined, not only that you didn’t take note of the request, first was given a room without a bathtub then we finally settled with one that has one but stank with cigarettes smell and with absolutely no view. Breakfast was very average but sufficient, full unhappy staffs standing around. Coffee was excellent though. Beside the good location right next to Fuzimiao that’s nothing good about the hotel unfortunately. It takes lots of tourist groups so the breakfast area gets very busy. For the price we paid there are many more better hotels to choose from in the area. My biggest regret in this trip.

The hotel room I eventually got upgradeed to was good and I enjoyed my stay. However, I am totally disappointed but the misleading marketing of Trip.com which landed me with a dated style serviced apartment that look like the 80's. I walked out immidiately. Shame on Trip.com for the misleading advertisment. I actually paid the same price as the hotel room buy was given a downgraded serviced apartment totally different from the Zen looking hotel room. The hotel manager was kind enough to give me a complimentary upgrade to their standard zen styled hotel room. Location was good as lots of food choices. There is a nice speakeasy bar in the annex building, look for the pet shop with kittens.

I want to mention that the hotel has a GREAT location and the staff was friendly! It's really close to the Confucius Temple, a metro line that goes directly to Nanjing South Train Station, and many nice restaurants/ shops etc. The bed is comfortable, and the shower is good. However, our room smelled a bit of cigars (420) even though I asked for a nonsmoking room. Also, there was construction noise starting at 7:30 a.m. (??). After we called reception to ask about it, it stopped, but that was not nice. The next day (a Sunday), we didn't have this issue :) . Overall, I think it was worth it because of the location, but it was a short weekend trip, so we didn't spend much time in the hotel.

I came to Nanjing on a business trip and chose this Grand Hotel. The location is quite good, the transportation is very convenient, and the environment is beautiful. The two hotel staff, Xiaolan and Xiaozhou, have a very good service attitude and help to adjust the room type. The room is very large. Whether it is a business trip or a trip, it is a good choice. We received a complimentary upgrade, as we had not yet received our purchased tickets to Nianhua Wan due to not having the China identity (as informed by trip agent & hotel). The breakfast provided was satisfying, offering a good start to our day. Despite the hotel's older appearance, it is well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and appreciated the hotel's efforts to accommodate us.

This is one of the best hotels we stayed in China recently. I was so pleasantly surprised in its location right in the middle of the famous Nantang Street, where restaurants and activities spill over to night time. The hotel is refurbished from a traditional style Chinese building and has a warm tone to it. The service was spectacular. Before our arrival, hotel staff Xiao Liu already started to liaise with me to ensure I know how to tell driver the location. Then he awaited at the stop to help me with luggage. During our stay, he was attentive and catered to all our needs with a great attitude. We will definitely be back at this hotel and explore more of Wuxi soon!!

The auntie missed the shampoo when she was doing the room service. She called the room number and it was delivered quickly. The round mirror makeup light in the bathroom was broken. I really have a sense of living in a small town. The 4 suites are just right for 8 adults. Our family of 4 people + my sister's boyfriend and grandparents 7 people plus two dogs are just right. The first floor is a leisure and entertainment room with a two-in-one mahjong table. There are two tea rooms, a living room and a TV room. So everyone can move freely downstairs, they can move together or do their own things without disturbing each other. There is even a terrace that can be pushed out to see the river. The 2nd and 3rd floors are all rooms, and there is also a terrace on the 3rd floor, and the scenery is super beautiful. The whole hotel is a renovation of an ancient town, and it is antique. Any photo you take is really a blockbuster. It is really beautiful. In addition, I always feel that many pet-friendly hotels are dirty, but this one charges more than 300 per dog for cleaning fees.
