Hotel romantis di Jiangsu, China

We were looking forward to our stay here and suffice to say, it did not disappoint. Location was great and it's located along Pingjiang Road. It made for a very convenient stroll at anytime of the day. We wanted to experience the street at its busiest to the quiet in the middle of the night once shops close and tourists leave. The sound of light footsteps and wheels rolling against cobbled path during the break of dawn to lightly stir you from your sleep were strangely soothing and nice to wake up to. Pillows were a lil soft to our liking but each to their own. We had a great stay nonetheless.

💯The lady who checked us in on Day 1 was very good, but the staff did not wear any name tag so I can’t remember her name. We found that she is the only one who was prompt and alert to guests needs. She helped upgrade us to a room that is more handicap friendly, as my husband was on crutches. She also helped us order takeaway using her private mobile phone when the restaurant on site was closed for lunch as we had no china mobile phone number to order take away. 💯The location is great by the lake and near the Tianmu Lake scenic park. 💯Outdoor hot spring staff on duty are attentive and polite. She even instructed the buggy driver to the nearest point to pick us when she noticed that my husband had difficulty walking. However the buggy driver did not pick us from the recommended point as she gave the excuse that her buggy driving skills are not good enough. Therefore we had to walk a longer way to be picked up, which puzzled everyone as there was more than enough space and a road for buggy entry…. ❌ Not enough staff, especially at dinner and breakfast. Food is slow to come at dinner even though we pre-ordered. Waited 30 mins and more. Staff are loud clearing the crockery, and had no sense of regard for those still dinning. ❌tour groups arrive in the evening by the bus load. The hotel did not feel premium with the crowd who were very loud. ❌the private hot spring in the room only had a fixed temperature of more than 40 degrees which made it very uncomfortable when the external temperature is more than 30 degrees. The solution was to mix it with cold water via tap, which was very slow and impractical. The hot water needs to be filled up by the staff, and you have to call them. ❌not suitable for those with difficulty walking or elderly. ideal to have your own car. 🤔Overall, I did not feel that I made a good choice with this booking. There are others private hot spring room near Yu Shui hot spring / Bamboo sea area for a better value and premium feel. 🫥I would also caution against the 100 yuan fish coupon - it is a discount coupon to offset about a third of the price of the dish, not a complimentary coupon for a fish head casserole. I did not receive the welcome gift so I can’t comment. The public hot springs has 4 pools.

Ruangannya bersih dan rapi, dengan lingkungan yang nyaman. Awalnya saya memesan kamar dengan pemandangan kota, tetapi Nona Cici di meja depan dengan baik hati meng-upgrade kamar saya ke kamar dengan pemandangan danau secara gratis. Seluruh Danau Xuanwu dapat dilihat sekilas. Pemandangannya indah di siang hari dan pemandangan malamnya menawan di malam hari. Itu sungguh suatu kejutan! Yang paling menyentuh saya adalah pelayanan Cici - dia tidak hanya profesional dan efisien, tetapi juga sangat perhatian. Dia berinisiatif menambahkan WeChat saat saya check in, dan mengurus setiap aspek seperti kepala pelayan pribadi. Baik itu rincian kamar maupun saran perjalanan, dia sabar, teliti, dan penuh perhatian. Dengan kehadirannya, seluruh proses tinggal terasa hangat dan aman. Serius, jika Anda datang ke Nanjing dan tidak menginap di InterContinental Nanjing, itu seperti pergi ke Paris dan tidak melihat Menara Eiffel. Dan jika Anda tinggal di Zifeng InterContinental dan bertemu Cici, Anda sungguh beruntung. Pelayanannya meningkatkan seluruh pengalaman menginap ke lebih dari satu tingkat. Lain kali saya datang ke Nanjing, Zifeng InterContinental akan tetap menjadi pilihan pertama saya.

Our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern yet inviting ambiance that instantly made us feel at ease. We were particularly impressed by the range of facilities that catered to everyone in the family. The hot springs were a highlight for us, providing a tranquil escape and a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The water was just right, and the surroundings were serene, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime. Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor. The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish. Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
