Tiba di jam yang tidak lazim, pukul 3 pagi, dan tidak tahu bagaimana cara menuju hotel. Seperti biasa, kontak untuk layanan antar-jemput hanya melalui telepon, yang tidak nyaman bagi warga negara non-Tiongkok. Untungnya, kami berhasil bergabung dengan orang lain yang menuju ke arah yang sama. Resepsionis bisa lebih ramah, tetapi saya mengerti bahwa itu adalah jam yang tidak lazim. Saya tidak mengerti bagaimana cara mendapatkan voucher hotel dan tidak dibantu untuk melakukannya. Kamar hotel itu sendiri luar biasa. Hilton Wenchang offers an opportunity to discover another curious side of Hainan. We could see Wenchang Space Launch site directly from our balcony. The beach was nearby, and we watched sunrises and sunsets there. The swimming pool was spotless clean, although only one pool out of there was open due to a low number of guests. A couple scenic spots are very close too, about 10 min drive. There has been a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff was polite and helpful. Jason He helped us with multiple needs, such as ordering medicine, finding restaurants, and booking a shuttle bus to Wenchang railway station. The latter is free, just need to book it in advance for a certain time period.

Weather in Haikou was a little gloomy, but Erin went out of her way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. She was readily available on WeChat to answer my queries and gave me good recommendations on how to best spend my time in Haikou. Overall the hotel was also comfortable, and I love that there is an indoor kids playground which my daughter had so much fun in, and also that it’s close to the beach! The buffet breakfast every morning also served up a good spread, but their international dinner buffet was the best!

Hotel is more like what is considered a B&B in the west. It’s nice and right on the beach and the premium rooms have full height windows with 180 degree panoramic view of the see and sunset. However, I think price range per night per room is way overpriced for what this B&B offers. There is no gym, swimming pool, or anything really except a coffee place downstairs. I paid close to sgd 120/night and that’s 20-30% more expensive than 5 star hotels in town and obviously absolutely different service level and environment. Breakfast is very simple here and very Chinese. No fresh vegetables or protein options except eggs. Mostly noodles and fried stuff. During the day the beach is dead as it’s too hot and places are closed. In the evening the place gets alive again and there street vendors selling fresh fish and vegetables Chinese yakitori. No decent restaurants around for lunch - need to order food - you need to read and write Chinese to be able to do that cause apps only in Chinese. Over hyped place overall! Would pay maybe sgd 30/40 per night to stay here but definitely not what they charge.

There is an awesome park nearby with a small via ferrata at the top and a super beautiful waterfall mid way up the mountain (I bathed there). Really highly recommend that hike. There is nothing else around the hotel so it is good for 2 nights

AAizaad RasidOur family of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) from Singapore recently stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate the New Year. As our first trip to China, we were blown away by the beauty of Sanya and the hospitality of this villa. Exceptional Service & Elderly Friendly The service was immaculate from start to finish. The complimentary railway station transfer was a lifesaver. The manager, who was also our driver, was incredibly punctual and went above and beyond to assist with our heavy luggage and my grandfather’s wheelchair. A special mention to our young housekeeper; despite the language barrier, his warmth and professionalism made our check-in effortless. The villa is perfect for multi-generational families—the ground-floor bedroom was ideal for my grandfather’s accessibility. Fun for the Whole Family The basement was the highlight of our stay. Our children spent hours learning pool, while the arcade machine in the bedroom brought back great memories for the adults. Outside, the back gate leads directly to the beach. We were right next to the Crowne Plaza, where they have buckets and shovels prepared for kids to share and a kiosk selling a great variety of popsicles to enjoy by the sea. Location & Travel Tips Haitang Bay is stunning. It features the world’s largest duty-free mall and arguably the best beaches on the island. For Muslim Travelers: Halal food is more concentrated in Sanya Bay and Yalong Bay, so plan your meals accordingly if staying in Haitang Bay. Guest Discounts: Be sure to ask the staff about yacht charters! We enjoyed a great discount on a private boat trip just by staying here. Weather: For those coming from Southeast Asia, the weather here is perfect in late December—dry, sunny, and very comfortable. Helpful Notes for Future Guests Room Layout: The top-floor bedroom has a unique open-bathroom design and no wardrobe. It’s a stylish arrangement, but good to know for privacy planning. Skin Sensitivity: A few of our family members have very sensitive skin (like eczema) and reacted to the swimming pool water. This is just a note for those with similar skin types, and perhaps something the villa can look into for the future. The Beach: The waves can be quite strong and the wind can be high, so do check the tides before heading out. Conclusion Watching the 1.1 New Year fireworks and drone displays away from the usual crowds was worth every cent. Sanya is a clean, safe, friendly, and beautiful city. This villa is a hidden gem that we would recommend to anyone. We could actually see ourselves living here!

We were thrilled with the stunning ocean view from our room, which was the first thing we admired every morning. The incredible hospitality began with a complimentary airport pickup and drop-off, making our travel completely seamless. A lovely surprise was the complimentary drinks and cake, which made us feel so welcomed. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, beautifully new, and has a fantastic modern ambiance. SSmoking GunHotel location is near to Pedestrian Street and there are lots of restaurants around within walking distance. Amenities are nit to my expectation. The toilet light is dim and cannot see clearly at the mirror. Television set was not working in the room and had to change room.
