Overall, this hotel was a superb experience. We arrived around 18.00 in the evening after a long drive. Unfortunately some technical error in their system required us to wait in the lobby for about 30min, but we were swiftly compensated in the form of free parking and a complimentary prosecco in the room. The room itself was beautiful. Amazing view, very comfortable bed and TV placement, a very long bathtub. The only mild annoyance was that the bathroom light was finicky to turn on and adjust. The spa is a must-experience, especially after a long drive from one side of Sweden to the other. It was excellent; nothing to complain about. The best thing about Upper House however, is the breakfast. I have never had a better breakfast experience anywhere else in the world. I would gladly stay again just to eat their breakfast menu. Very excellent stay, great service and great food. A solid 9.5/10 experience.

Pro Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, very high standard service by the staff clearly well trained in hospitality service. Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Shout out to Victoria who welcomed us upon our arrival and made our check in process a pleasure. She even let us in earlier than usual check in time as our room were ready early. Vey comfortable bed, nice ambient lighting. Good space with sofa and a few small table. Perfect location in the Central station on the first and second floor, so you can just jump from the hotel corridor to be on the ground floor (seriously, don't do this, just take the lift or escalator like a normal sane person:)) Not noisy at all in my room despite next to the train stop. Very well design sound proof room. Breakfast buffet was amazing, good rang of options even for someone like my family that only eat Halal food - various vegetarians and eggs suitable food. Luggage storage free of charge before check in or after checking out to help you enjoy Gothenburg without the need to carry your extra tonne of luggages. Sauna and gym are also available for the customers. Cons None really, for the price tag I think the hotel is perfect.

We arrived at 7:30 pm and were told we got a room “upgrade”. The room was small so we really wondered what the “original” room looked like. The bed had stains on the cover that was laid under the mattress which didn’t look good. We went down to the lobby and found nobody present. We moved on to the restaurant, it was 8 pm. Half full and we were met with the wonderful advise that they were closed for service. This was Friday May 16th and the menu board was still at the entrance door to the restaurant. We went back to the reception and queried why the restaurant was not serving dinner at 8 pm on a Friday. The receptionist looked dumbfounded and told us it usually serves dinner at least until 9 pm but she took no action to assist us except to say we could walk fir 15 minutes to the Aveny, a street with lots of restaurants but could not suggest any close by. We ended up going to, as it happened, a fantastic restaurant right around the corner called Le Pigalle on the top floor of, we guess, a competing hotel. Fabulous meal in a restaurant that knew how to treat their guests. In short we have regretfully no positive things to say about the ProfilHotels Opera in Gothenburg. Gothenburg was fantastic but when we return we will definitely not book at the Opera which is overpriced for the standard and service they offer. Total waste of money at this venue. Regretfully we did not bother to take any pictures of the place as it is nothing we wish to remember about it.

My recent stay at the Scandic Göteborg Central was a truly positive experience, largely thanks to its fantastic location and the excellent service provided. Being just a short, pleasant 10-minute walk from the central station was incredibly convenient. This made arriving and departing effortless, and exploring the city using public transport was a breeze. The service I encountered throughout the hotel was consistently great. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and any queries I had were addressed promptly and with genuine care. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. The spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. From fresh pastries and bread to a selection of hot dishes, cereals, fruits, and yogurts, there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was also noteworthy, making for a delightful start to each day. Overall, the Scandic Göteborg Central offered a comfortable and convenient base for my time in Gothenburg. Its perfect location near the central station, coupled with the great service and delicious breakfast, made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

超級棒的酒店！建議定高級房30平方在北歐真的算很大的了，性價比很高，高級房浴缸和淋浴分開空間很足，雙洗手枱，整體很舒適。 洗漱用品味道很特別，瓶身上有“靜”字中文很親切。衞生很不錯，保潔人員也很好溝通，即使週末人多快滿房打掃也很快！ 早餐不錯，每層樓有免費的咖啡機，牛奶植物奶以及可頌，三明治，小點心隨意享用。這點很特別！不出酒店門就可以享受百年城堡建築的樂趣！ 屋頂游泳池據説不錯但沒去，下次可以試試！ 地理位置毋庸置疑，坐火車首選，火車站商業很方便超級多的餐飲和超市，住宿很方便！ 哥德堡不大，比較值得去的就是沃爾沃博物館和藝術博物館！ 特別提醒！這個城市秋冬天外號“小倫敦”，因為霧濛濛的，幾乎每天都會下雨！不過都是小雨，下一會停一會，最好帶個防水的硬殼防風衣套在羽絨服外面！特別重要！這樣不用帶傘啦！ 酒店二樓的餐廳！很好吃！侍酒師是意大利小夥很健談，對酒也很瞭解，推薦的配餐酒很不錯！住這個酒店直接去二樓吃晚餐會很不錯，套餐看了下也很便宜四五百瑞典克朗一個人吧三四道菜，但個人喜歡單點菜！推薦生牛肉塔塔很好吃！油炸洋薊也很好吃！比目魚也不錯！強烈推薦這個餐廳！ 餐廳也很有愛，週日晚上關門一天為了給哥德堡城市的流浪漢homeless提前過聖誕節感受温暖，所有餐廳廚師服務人員都去給他們做飯了！在大週末，果然是北歐風格！大讚！

Berlokasi strategis di seberang jalan dari stasiun kereta Gothenburg. Anda dapat berjalan-jalan di sekitar kota tua, berjalan ke dermaga dan menikmati angin sepoi-sepoi. Di sebelah pusat perbelanjaan besar Nordstan, nyaman untuk berbelanja dan makan. Sarapannya banyak variasinya. Kamar dengan pemandangan kota memiliki pemandangan yang indah.

Breakfast: buffet style, good. Wish there were more kinds of fruit available. Room: size is ok for 1 person, the bed is quite big. Hair dryer, hangers provided. No kettles can be borrowed and you can only get hot water at the front desk. Staff: i arrived a bit early but the staff let me check in early. nice and helpful Others: there’s a gym, sauna, outdoor jacuzzi too. Close to a bus stop.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk across the train station, with a multitude of food and shopping options nearby. We booked the family room, which is spacious, well-lit, and beautifully decorated. Check-in was convenient and smooth. Definitely recommended!
