I’m in awe of Canada’s nature, but the hotel left me rather disappointed, especially compared to other hotels. Some floors were closed for renovations, which significantly affected the quality of my sleep. During my entire stay, I didn’t get a single full night’s sleep because all the noisy work was done from 8 PM onwards, often lasting indefinitely. Sometimes I woke up to the noise at 1 AM, which was, of course, very unpleasant—especially considering we weren’t warned about it or offered any discount for the inconvenience. The service was also quite mediocre. We constantly had to ask for things—there were no creams, no soap, or something else missing in the room.

The location is accessible to different public transport which is convenient for solo travellers. Also, it is in the middle of downtown area where restaurants and major establishments are located. Overall, chateau Lacombe is a good hotel to stay if you are planning to go in Edmonton.

The receptionist was very cheerful and the room was very clean! It is also located conveniently in Downtown Calgary. However, the temperature of the shower can be a bit tricky to adjust as it will either be too hot or too cold. But I was very satisfied overall and would recommend this hotel to fellow solo travellers!

All staff, from front desk to engineering maintenance, are great. The restaurant breakfast staff might want to smile too. 😊

The place is convinient for travellers outside Calgary.

This is my second visit this time it was perfect they renovated it since i walked in smells sooo clean and fresh the housekeeping manger sooo helpful and kind The buffet for dinner amazing Indian cuisine over all very nice experience especially at the pool

The buffet offered a wide variety of options, including scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, yogurt, and a selection of pastries. There was also a pancake machine, which was a fun touch! The dining area was clean and spacious, allowing me to enjoy my meal in a relaxed environment. The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for travelers using the airport. It’s just a short drive away, and the hotel offers a shuttle service, which is very convenient. I took advantage of this service, and it was prompt and efficient, making my arrival and departure stress-free. Additionally, I had the chance to use the fitness center during my stay. It was well-equipped with modern machines and weights, and it was nice to have that option to maintain my workout routine while traveling. Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton International Airport was highly satisfactory. The combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities made it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I reserved this place for my son's tournament. I stayed well for 2 nights without any inconvenience. However, the table and refrigerator here were too small, so it was a little uncomfortable, but it wasn't a big problem. Some other hotels made loud noises with heaters and microwaves, but this place had a microwave inside the storage, so I could use it quietly while my son was sleeping, and the heater noise was not loud. The front and housekeeper staff were generally friendly and the ice machine worked well. Also, it was nice to have a drinking fountain on the main floor and the swimming pool.
