The hotel is not bad, however there were a couple of downsides:
1. The service was extremely slow, every time we had to wait for 20 minutes at the reception.
2. I have received a small package and had to pay $9 USD pick up fee.
3. I forgot my jacket at my room and when I called the hotel they said that they were unable to locate it.
4. The room was not cleaned and the shampoos/soap were not refilled as well as the towels were not picked up from the floor or changed within several days of my stay.
Otherwise, it was pretty clean but not spotless. I haven't tried the breakfast so can't say. The parking is free.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and amazingly quiet in spite of being located inside of the airport. A refrigerator in the room would have been great. Overall: A well updated older hotel with some Miami-vibe charm. I will stay there again.

This is one of our favourite hotels anywhere. We took our entire three generation family there from the UK a couple of years ago and this year we effectively added a two day stay onto a two week villa rental vacation just so that we could revisit the hotel and play the golf course. We did have a few complaints about two things.
We visited the Italian restaurant’ Cala Bella’ and whilst we enjoyed most of our starters we didn’t really enjoy our main courses with the food feeling pre prepared and warmed up rather than fresh. We sent some back and there was no quibble about taking these off the bill but it was a disappointing dining experience. For that money in a top class hotel everything should be freshly prepared
We felt that some of the charges were excessive, a 20% service charge on a $30 self serve breakfast buffet is scandalous . Similarly $32/day for self parking felt excessive.
This was our third visit to this hotel- will there be a fourth ?

Everything was great except the shower didn't work at all. They sent a guy up and he was able to get the water flowing. I got in the shower after he left and while the water did flow it was scalding hot at all temperature levels. I advised the front desk at checkout, they thanked me for letting them know. I think it would have been nice if they took some off the bill as the reasons for staying in a hotel are literally to sleep and clean-up.

Ini adalah hotel resmi Universal Orlando, jadi dekat dengan Universal dan memiliki akses yang sangat baik. Hotel ini baru dibuka, jadi baru dan bersih!
Rumah hotelnya sangat besar, jadi agak sulit untuk menuju kamar. Saya menurunkan barang bawaan saya pagi-pagi sekali, pergi ke resepsi, mengambil lencana ulang tahun dan kunci kamar, dan memasuki taman lebih awal.
Saya kembali sekitar jam 8 malam dan berangkat jam 5 keesokan paginya, jadi saya tidak benar-benar menginap di sana (lol) Saya pikir dindingnya agak tipis karena saya bisa mendengar suara orang di lorong, tapi saya hanya ingin tidur jadi tidak ada. tidak masalah. !

I always thought Hilton is a very high end hotel. I was totally disappointed upon arriving at this property. It looks very outdated and rundown.
Toilet is way too low in the washroom.
I didn't know gratuity of 15% is automatically included when I made a purchase at the lobby Herb N' Kitchen. That caught me by surprise.
Free shuttle between hotel and airport is the biggest factor for me to book this hotel.

Got to Miami had a room right away
Coming off ship had to wait 2 hrs for a room but it gave me a chance to eat and go outside for a smoke and coffee which was great

Ccm2024As people who travel regularly, we place a lot of emphasis on other reviews when booking. I was rather concerned reading previous reviews of this property, but having stayed at multiple other Ritz Carlton’s (Singapore, Koh Samui, Dalllas, Melbourne etc) we hoped the brand would live up to expectations and great experiences at other properties. IT DID NOT!
Strongly suggest avoiding this property at all costs. Look at the low ranked reviews, they all make sense to me after staying.
This property has us questioning if we would ever stay with this brand again. Amazing isn’t it, how one property can tarnish a brands reputation.
We have been overcharged after checkout after settling the bill when leaving (unresolved at this point but will get to that later).
The first room we checked into had air conditioning so loud you could not hear the TV. It was also dirty with marks and dust/grime on every surface and excess dog hair on the floor. I went to the front desk and the best they could do was “send someone up to check the A/C. The property was practically empty. This was not good enough!
I was fortunate enough to speak with the GM who remedied the room situation immediately. We then dealt with Daniel (who was on loan from Santa Barbara Ritz Carlton) he was a great reflection on the brand. He upgraded us, which was appreciated but not expected, just a room with a reasonable a/c would have been fine.
Rooms are very average, worn and not clean. Linen was stained, towels so old some had tears and holes in them.
The majority of the staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere else than at the Ritz Carlton South, can’t say I blame them but really let the place down.
When dining they would bring the bill before we had finished dining over and over, at times even advising their break was about to start so needed to provide bill, how about you get another staff member to do this…
Upon checkout I paid with an alternate card than I used for the security deposit (to avoid international transaction fees). I settled the bill of approx $450usd and away we went.
A few days later, a charge of $390usd (approx) appears on my original card used for security deposit (along with an international transaction fee). This charge is absolute rubbish and was not warranted, everything was settled and paid on check out.
I rang and rang and rang all day to the hotel and the phone was never answered. Finally I had to call and international call centre where the wind noise in the background was so loud I could hardly hear. I was then told the extra was for bar charges (not ours!) we had one whisky and a coke at the bar which was on my bill at checkout. I was then told they would try to contact hotel and hopefully in up to 2 weeks they would respond to the call centre, and sometime after to me. This from Ritz Carlton? Disgraceful.
We then got lucky and got the US call centre. This was much more helpful and the agent advised the hotel would call back the same day. Still no call back from Hotel, no explanation of why my card was charged… no invoice, no receipts.
Now I need to go through the process of disputing the transaction with my bank. Really?
The old saying one bad apple spoils the cart, couldn’t be more true of the Ritz Carlton South Beach. There were many other disappointing things that happened during the stay that isn’t even worth going into. Such an epic disappointment from this brand.
I am hoping this property reaches out as promised but it holding my breath.
Do better Ritz Carlton South Beach!
Not wanting to end on such a sour note. Daniel (from RC Santa Barbara) was a standout for guest service as was Noela at the Valet, both embody what guest expect from RC.

Snídaně formou bufetu, kdy nabídka by asi mohla být rozmanitější, ale celkově nadprůměr, když to srovnám s jinými hotely na východním pobřeží. Co bych určitě ještě vypíchnul je to, že poslední noc přestala jít v celém hotelu klimatizace, tak nám dali slevu na dvě noci, takže hezký přístup!

TTamuI wanted a hotel that would be close to airport in order to catch an early flight the next day and reasonably priced. I had just arrived back from cruise so I wouldn’t be able to check-in until 4pm. However, I explained my situation and they were able to accommodate me with an early check-in. However, there was an additional charge but I didn’t mind. Cruises arrived around 8 am so I was happy with getting a room to relax. Staff was very nice and professional. Front desk, bartenders and cleaning staff. I would definitely recommend this location.
