Journey Through Zigong Danxia Landforms (Jianshan, Chuanshandong, Nongtuan, Feilongxia)

Yesterday, I embarked on an adventure with friends, traversing the captivating Danxia landforms of Zigong along Wufu Road. Our journey began at Jianshan, where we explored the Chuanshandong cave near Qiaotou. We then proceeded to Guanyinge Old Street (formerly the Nongtuan Township), concluding our exploration at Chang'en Temple in Feilongxia. While previous visits to Jianshan and Nongtuan primarily focused on sightseeing, this trip emphasized the unique distribution of Danxia landforms in the area. Venturing from Maoxiang Villa, we entered Gongjing Qiaotou Town, where we encountered our first natural bridge formed by the Danxia landscape in Zigong. Conversations with local villagers revealed the existence of another natural bridge hidden within the nearby mountains. Wufu Road winds through the Guanyinge community, where a short stretch of old street retains a nostalgic charm. Amidst the vibrant spring scenery, we arrived at Feilongxia, immersing ourselves in the natural "oxygen bar" of the canyon. Our journey culminated at Chang'en Temple, adorned with blossoming magnolia flowers. The entire route lies primarily within the Feilongxia Provincial Forest Park, where towering cliffs and steep mountains showcase the stunning Danxia landforms. This adventure proved to be a refreshing escape, offering a chance to rejuvenate both body and mind.
