Walking in the rain in Mangshan: a magical wonderland deep in the mist

[Rose] On May 4, 2025, fine raindrops fell like silver threads. With special expectations, I stepped into Mangshan in the rain and started a wonderful journey embracing the clouds and mist. [Rose] As soon as we arrived at the foot of Mangshan Mountain, the raindrops gently hit the ground, splashing tiny water droplets, as if whispering the secret story of the mountains and forests. As you slowly climb the winding mountain trail, the greenery around you becomes increasingly dense. The trees, after being baptized by the rain, seemed to have put on new green clothes, with their leaves shining green and looking fresh and juicy. Each drop of rain rolls on the leaves like crystal jade beads, reflecting a fresh and charming luster. [Rose] As my steps climb higher, wonderful changes quietly take place. At some point, layers of clouds and mist emerged in the mountains. They floated like a veil and quickly enveloped Mangshan. The strange peaks in the distance are looming in the clouds and mist, just like a shy goddess with her face half covered and only her graceful figure revealed. These peaks have various shapes. Some are like sharp swords piercing the sky, showing grandeur and perseverance; some are like fairies standing tall and graceful, exuding a gentle temperament. Surrounded by clouds and mist, their outlines become softer, as if they were gently smudged by the delicate brushstrokes of the painter nature, hazy and poetic. Each one is like a natural ink painting. [Rose] Continuing to move forward, the scenery nearby was even more dreamlike. The mist swirls around you, sometimes gently brushing your cheeks, bringing a hint of coolness, as if it were a gentle caress from the mountains and forests; sometimes it gathers quickly, obscuring everything in front of you, making you feel as if you are in a white chaotic world, with only the stone road under your feet reminding you the direction to go. The strange rocks beside us are hidden in the clouds and mist, adding a touch of mystery. Some are shaped like crouching tigers, as if ready to go; some are shaped like coiled dragons, as if about to take off into the sky. These peculiar stones, carved by time and set off by clouds and mist, are like exquisite works of art, telling ancient and mysterious legends. In this quiet atmosphere, the soul seems to be cleansed, and the everyday noise and chaos gradually dissipate, leaving only wonder at the beauty in front of you and awe of nature.
