One of the Four Great Academies - Ehu Academy

[Introduction]: Ehu Academy is located at the foot of Ehu Mountain in Ehu Town, Yanshan County, Shangrao City. It is one of the four great academies of ancient Jiangxi Province, covering an area of 8,000 square meters. Ehu Academy was once a famous cultural center. The Ehu Meeting, attended by Southern Song Dynasty Neo-Confucianists Zhu Xi and Lu Jiuyuan, was a significant event in the history of Chinese Confucianism. To commemorate the Ehu Meeting, the "Four Sages Temple" was built behind the academy.
