#MarchGoodPlaces2025 Because Lele Bookstore was not open, after taking photos outside the bookstore, we took a walk to the park opposite. The park is called Xiehe Park. The park is surrounded by townhouses and few high-rise buildings, so the view is very good and there is no sense of oppression. Just like other small parks, children's play facilities are definitely available. Of course there are trees, flowers and plants, but they don't look very tall. The history of this park doesn't seem very long, and the public toilets are also kept very clean. The most attractive place in the park is the installation art in the center of the park. The work created by several children is called "Vaulting Horse". The "horse jumping" game is believed to be a game that many adults have played in their childhood. The author presents the movements and expressions of children when playing "horse jumping" in a slightly exaggerated way. There is also another one with a theme called "Seeing the Shadow Immediately", which uses a bamboo pole in a child's hand to project the sun's shadow onto the ground and the sundial behind it, which is similar to the sundial in nature. But besides the art installation, what caught my eye were the townhouses all around. The environment here is quite quiet, and it is even more blessed to live across from the park. Our home is also a townhouse. Although it is not in Taichung, there is an elementary school in the cultural and educational area just across the wall. You can see Dawu Mountain from the room and the roof without opening the door, so I don’t envy the people living around here. The quality of our living environment is also great. Of course, parks can help add points to real estate. The two complement each other and create a market where there are more people than places, and the market price becomes high and out of reach.
