I enjoyed traditional Lithuanian food at a wonderful underground restaurant I came across in the city of Kaunas. The ceiling is arched, giving the restaurant an atmospheric atmosphere. ⸻ 🍲[Saltibarsichai] A cold beet and yogurt soup with a shocking pink color. Contrary to its appearance, it has a refreshing sour taste and is perfect for hot weather! It's rare to have a cold soup, and it was a memorable taste during my trip. 🥤[Gila] The fermented drink "Gila" is a popular drink in Lithuania. It is made from bread and has a sweet and sour taste with a slightly peculiar taste. It contains a small amount of alcohol (less than 1%) during the fermentation process.
