Just returned from a 2-day, 1-night trip to Tonglu, and I'm fully recharged for the new year!

Recommended by National Geographic as a top travel destination, Tonglu is home to a guesthouse I chose for its relaxing atmosphere, environment, service, in-house activities, and food. Everything exceeded my expectations. 🌿For someone like me who loves to recharge in nature, this place is perfect. I could spend an entire day just lounging on the tatami in the guest room or on the rooftop terrace, soaking up the sun and daydreaming. 🏠Sky Secret Ridge Guesthouse 📍Zaojinwu, Nianglingwu, Hongru Village, Jiuxian Subdistrict, Tonglu, Hangzhou 🪜A short escape from the city, the best version of seclusion in the mountains A world apart, hidden in a valley in Tonglu, completely surrounded by mountains and forests. 🪜Mountain and wild aesthetic space, perfect for photos My personal favorite is the dining area, the forest glass house, the earthen stove area, and the lawn area at the entrance. The wooden door and stone steps on the lawn also make for great photos. 🪜The room is great, I'm thrilled I stayed in the Moon Tea room, facing the mountains. Besides enjoying tea and sunbathing on the tatami in the room, I could also go to the private terrace and get closer to nature, feeling the tranquility and relaxation of being surrounded by mountains. 🪜The food is delicious! This is the guesthouse with the most abundant and thoughtfully presented breakfast I've ever stayed at. The vegetarian noodles for breakfast are well-deserved, with smooth noodles and fragrant soup, simple yet flavorful, and easy to eat in the morning. Dinner features Fuchun River fresh fish and Tonglu specialty dishes, making it a one-stop destination to savor the essence of Tonglu. 🪜Rich in-house activities There are many activities, such as making rice cakes, a non-heritage food of Tonglu, handicrafts, and tea brewing by the stove. You can have fun for two days and one night without leaving the guesthouse. 🪜Great service, everyone loves to smile The housekeeper is always responsive, and the aunts are very friendly and always smiling. There is a turndown service at night, which is very thoughtful. Nearby attractions 🚗25-30 minutes 🎫OMG Heartbeat Park: There are many attractions, bringing the amusement park to nature. 🎫Yaolin Wonderland: If you haven't seen a cave, you can go, especially if you have kids. 🛶Luci Bay: I personally think it's the most beautiful section of the Fuchun River. You can walk along the river, take a duck boat, or visit Yan Ziling to check out the "High Mountains and Long Rivers". 🚗40 minutes Shishe Village, Maoping Village: Jiangnan ancient villages, with nearby hiking trails that are not too difficult. You can go for a walk if the weather is nice.
