I struck gold! This small town in Anhui is my definition of a spiritual oasis.

I've been so stressed from work lately that I could barely breathe, and I desperately wanted to find a place to hide and escape all the exhaustion. I happened to see someone recommend Yongquan Town in Tongling, Anhui, saying it's a great place to completely relax. My heart skipped a beat, and I immediately decided to check it out 😎. Before I left, I was worried about the transportation, because inconvenient transportation can be a real pain when you're traveling. But after checking, wow, the transportation is super convenient! Take the high-speed train to Tongling North Station, then take a taxi, and you can reach Yongquan Town in about 15 minutes. It couldn't be easier 🚄. My anticipation was through the roof. As soon as I arrived in Yongquan Town, I was captivated by the tranquil atmosphere. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, everything here is slow-paced, as if time itself has slowed down 🕙. At that moment, I had only one thought: I've come to the right place! On the first day, I followed the recommended itinerary and visited the 12 Scenes of Recalling Jiangnan. I deliberately woke up early and set off while the morning sun was still mild and the crowds were small. Strolling along the winding paths, surrounded by mountains and rivers, shaded by lush trees 🌳, every scene was like a breathtaking painting, truly making me stop and admire. I was like a treasure hunter, thrilled with every new beautiful scene I discovered. Here, there was no work pressure, no trivial matters of life, only me and the beauty of nature. The morning breeze gently brushed my cheeks, carrying the fragrance of flowers and the scent of earth. That feeling was truly healing 💕. After a tiring day of exploring, I went to the Jiubao Hot Springs at the foot of the mountain. As soon as I got there, I was drawn to the open-air hot spring pools. I found a pool I liked and soaked in, the warm spring water enveloping my body, instantly dispelling the day's fatigue. Looking up at the blue sky and white clouds, surrounded by green trees, it was incredibly pleasant. In this fast-paced life, it's such a luxury to have a moment to relax and unwind. As I soaked in the hot spring, I sighed inwardly, this is what life should be like! In the evening, there was a bonfire party in the town. Everyone gathered around the bonfire, singing and dancing, filled with laughter and joy. At that moment, I felt the pure joy between people, without barriers, without pretense, only the most genuine smiles and the most sincere emotions. Here, I met friends from all over, listened to their stories, and shared my own happiness. It was a truly wonderful feeling! The next day, I went to Jiangnan Flavor. Stepping inside, it was like traveling back in time to an ancient market. The town uses copper coins for transactions, which is quite interesting. With the copper coins I exchanged, I shuttled between the stalls, tasting the local delicacies. Stinky tofu, sugared taro seedlings, shortbread... everything was so delicious that I couldn't stop 😋. The food here is not only delicious but also full of local flavor, allowing me to experience the local customs. My two days in Yongquan Town were truly wonderful. It's like a forgotten paradise, tranquil and charming. It has stunning natural scenery that allows you to forget your worries amidst the mountains and rivers; it has unique experiences that allow you to fully enjoy your leisure time; and it has a rich local flavor that allows you to feel the warmth of life.
