Shinjuku Gyoen is a large park in Tokyo that is a 1-2 minute walk from Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station. It is also the background for the anime The Garden of Words. It is a large garden like an oasis in the city, so you should prepare yourself well if you want to take a look! The current admission fee is 500 yen, which is a bit higher than when I went..
