[Oshiage, Tokyo] A tonkatsu restaurant with a downtown feel at the foot of the Skytree

I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. People kept coming in. There are quite a lot of regulars, and this restaurant has been loved by locals for a long time. This place is right in front of the Skytree, and a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Station. The restaurant has a counter and a table seating for four people. There is also a tatami room in the back. I ordered a tonkatsu set meal (regular) at the counter. I was also interested in the ginger pork and fried shrimp. The veteran owner in the restaurant skillfully fried the pork, and the set meal came out just a few minutes after I ordered. The pickles and clam miso soup were delicious. The tonkatsu was freshly fried, and the batter was crispy, and it was fried in light oil, so I couldn't stop eating it. I ended up snacking on it in no time. All the staff were very kind and polite, and the atmosphere was very good, as they care about their customers. It's full of the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese downtown area, so it's also recommended for travel. Many office workers come here for lunch, and it was impressive to see them leaving saying, "The tonkatsu here is really delicious." In the evening, it operates as an izakaya, mainly serving sashimi. It's a restaurant I'd definitely like to visit again.
